  1. Oh dear me. Most expensive full back ever (at the time) and the other an under-rated magician snatched by Sir Howard for our majestic promo push. Come on, keep up!
  2. Yes Brentford at home March 2015. Lost 3-2 after being 2-1 up at HT. Also happened month before at home to Norwich but not happened since!
  3. Watching Fox while on hols in Florida - painful! ‘Roster’ ..... ‘locker room’ ..... ‘defense’ ...... ‘offense’ ..... oh dear me! Started watching the Spanish channel just so I don’t have to listen.
  4. "Looking at how Premier League TV deal has increased (with clubs receiving £95m to £150m), there could hardly have been a worse time for Blackburn to lose their Premier League status."
  5. Agreed on TM contract. The only slight doubt is IF he is given a bigger transfer budget can he spend it as well as when he had less money last year - I hope so.
  6. Rumour is Wharton to Accy Stanley - probably on loan
  7. Thanks Kamy. Happy days remembered. It's the only reason I'm looking forward to this season and a few away trips.
  8. Very sad news. Howard Kendall was a man with honour who gave the club back some respectability. The promotion season when we came back up from the old third division was probably one of my favourite seasons ever. Duncan McKenzie, Andy Crawford, Micky Sleight...and Howard played himself and was still class. Chesterfield away on the train and of course, Gigg Lane. Happy days. Thoughts with Howard's family RIP
  9. Usually Al looks out of his depth and a bit boring, but last night he was the best of the four presenters and really showed he had knowledge of the game and looked absolutely gutted by the result - Shearer for England manager!
  10. Agreed but can't hold out any longer:- 1. Chelsea 2. United 3. Arsenal 4. Liverpool 5. Spurs 6. Newcastle 7. West Ham 8. ROVERS 9. Bolton 10. Everton 11. Charlton 12. Man City 13. Portsmouth 14. Wigan 15. Villa 16. Fulham 17. Middlesbrough 18. Watford 19. Reading 20. Sheffield United
  11. [ Also, I didn't go to the game so maybe Reid was a numpty all game! Was he? 362214[/snapback] I did go and he was. To be fair to Reidy he was playing in a role that doesn't suit him and he couldn't be faulted for his effort - he gave 100%. With a bit more ambition (oh for a fit Matt Jansen of 2002), we could have won it. Their central defence was ok but the midfield was ours. A point was ok.
