  1. So I was correct then. Going to need anther centre back signing in the summer with the shit news about Scott Wharton's long term injury
  2. Yes we needed 2 strikers last summer. Telalovic was scouted and know by Rovers scouts before last summer. Rovers scouts and recruitments department can watch any football they want and any clips are available through Wyscout
  3. Is this what you heard @Miller11 @Mike Graham @We Are The Rovers @K-Hod @only2garners?
  4. Its been coming to EFL when the clubs wanted more money from TV rights meaning that they would have been more games shown meaning a reduction in 3pm kick offs. Personally it doesn't bother me but I can accept it will affect some fans and match going attendance to games cos people have family or work commitments or people play Football on Saturday morning or Sunday morning meaning they can't go. From my prospect, the price I paid for ST is fine and reasonable as I make every home game but not everyone can for the reasons above I highlighted above you. That why I suggested and posted on here what I think ST for adults should be for next season and going forward. My motto would be fill Ewood Park and get a good match day atmosphere for the players being the priority, They should have been on sale 2 months ago like other clubs do like Bolton. Whether Rovers management is another question. We will have wait and see. Rovers will have to do to attract supporters to games. Anything else will affect match day attendance in reduction of fans being there. You can keep blaming Sky all you want but you attached no blame to the clubs of the EFL wanted a better TV rights income. Anyone would know that would have to lead to more games on TV for that to bring in more TV income. Fairly simple situation Eustace need to be allow to bring in his own players and shape the squad he wants next season like JDT did
  5. The EFL and clubs wanted more money from TV rights. If it wasn't Sky Sports it would be Dazn or Premier Sports. Clubs wanted more money cos they thought their TV rights was worth more the current TV deal. Any TV Company would more games to TV for more money. Fairly simple and understandable point of view. That's why Clubs are/should lower their ST and match day prices starting with this season. I have posted my thoughts what ST and match day prices. What do you think of those ideas?
  6. We signed Ennis at the start of the window
  7. It's the EFL and its clubs who wanted a more lucrative TV deal. All Sky has done is offer the EFL what they want. If it wasn't Sky it would have another TV company. It's what Rovers and EFL clubs are going have to get more supporters in ground and to appeal to non regular ST holders and match day people.
  8. Surely it's EFL and the clubs who wanted a better and more money from the TV deal are the ones to blame not Sky? Did you think TV rights were going to sold for more money with more games being on TV? Down to Rovers to come up with a proper proposal for ST and match day prices that attracts more fans to the stadium? Bolton have done with sensible prices
  9. Each to their own but I think he would want to play regular first team football compare to Bench warmer at Everton
  10. I never wrote Toni in my post tho. Looks like @J*Bor one of the mods changed it
  11. Let's wait and see till the summer. If you think.fine but do we need to saying it. No
  12. He signed some quality players at Birmingham like Olly Burke, Dion Sanderson, Jay Stansfields from Fulham We should be spending £10m this summer with 1st choice keeper, striker and pacey winger being priority for me
  13. It's has changed for various reasons already posted and in the public domain. They should have been on sale weeks ago
  14. But no football played. Pickford will always be first choice Playing regular first team football at his age is what he will want surely
  15. Down to Rovers to beat them to the sign him. Why would he go to Everton as s back up to England number 1 Pickford? Pointless move for me.
  16. My first choice to sign as new number 1 keeper would be Viktor Johansson at Rotherham. Has a clause in his contract of £1m this summer and for me it is no brainer not to go and sign the player. Viktor Johansson 2023 ● Rotherham ► Best 22/23 EFL Championship Goalkeeper (youtube.com)
  17. one thing that Elliott Jackson mentions in his weekly podcast Arte Le Labore, is he doesn't think Eustace rates his attacking options beyond the main 4 in Hedges, Dolan, Szmodics and Gallagher(Maybe Sigurdsson but with him being injured we don't know) and that why he changes formation when one of those isn't available. I think it was interesting point made and one that @arbitro has made also that our best performance apart from Leeds away and Stoke at home have been 4-2-3-1 formation like Ipswich and Southampton at home, Sunderland and Boro away. He has to go 4-2-3-1 formation on Saturday.
  18. Rovers have to lower the prices this coming season with the new TV deal coming which the EFL wanted more money from TV revenue. Games will be moved to a number of different kick offs from Friday night to Sunday afternoon. Rovers should charged £199 for Riverside, £249 for BBE and lower JW, £280 for JW upper wing and £330 for JW upper centre I think Rovers also need to look at match day prices policy where you need to make attractive for walk on fans to attend also. £10 for midweek games, £15 to £20 for weekend games I hope Rovers actually serious think about this cos some people won't be attend to every game due to work or family commitments was kick offs changing.
  19. agreed. I think 4-2-3-1 formation is our best formation with 5-2-3 formation being our second formation
  20. Was Eustace there watching the game? 100% agree
  21. I understand your point but surely that is down to the home support to be more vocal but the club should be focusing on filling the home sections by having sensible and cheaper ST and match day prices policies. Have a singing area for fans like NO1 and NO5 area I wouldn't put the away fans in Darwen end upper tier. Like I said previously, if Pears can't cope with having full stand of away fans being him then how did he cope against Leeds away or Newcastle at home in the cup. Young and inexperience group? really? Pears 25, Hyam 28, Wharton 26, Carter 24, Brittain 26, JRC 24 Tronstad 28, Pickering 25, Dolan 22, Szmodics 28 Gallagher 28 That is hardly a young or inexperience group is it. Younger player there is Dolan who has 161 apps for us.
  22. yet Ipswich wanted Gallagher in January and they already Hirst who proved his worth to them in the first half of the season. Hirst just didn't work out here sadly but he has been a big role in Ipswich success since joining them
