  1. Was Eustace there watching the game? 100% agree
  2. I understand your point but surely that is down to the home support to be more vocal but the club should be focusing on filling the home sections by having sensible and cheaper ST and match day prices policies. Have a singing area for fans like NO1 and NO5 area I wouldn't put the away fans in Darwen end upper tier. Like I said previously, if Pears can't cope with having full stand of away fans being him then how did he cope against Leeds away or Newcastle at home in the cup. Young and inexperience group? really? Pears 25, Hyam 28, Wharton 26, Carter 24, Brittain 26, JRC 24 Tronstad 28, Pickering 25, Dolan 22, Szmodics 28 Gallagher 28 That is hardly a young or inexperience group is it. Younger player there is Dolan who has 161 apps for us.
  3. yet Ipswich wanted Gallagher in January and they already Hirst who proved his worth to them in the first half of the season. Hirst just didn't work out here sadly but he has been a big role in Ipswich success since joining them
  4. Yes we did, but JDT wanted more centre backs so he could go 3 at the back. I want to see more O'Riordan and I thought he would have been on the bench ahead of the Liverpool loanee. Just after he signed here, Gary Bowyer was on Radio Lancs singing O'Riordan praises and said we got a good player here.
  5. Just excuses from yourself in my opinion. No different for me All posted on here, used the search function on the site to find it but you won't cos you know you wrong, so I will do it for you 2024/25 Season Tickets - Page 3 - Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard - BRFCS.com - By Blackburn Rovers fans, for Blackburn Rovers fans. just excuses after excuses. There were 7k Sheff Wed fans. That it. How did they ever make it professional if they can't play in front one full stand of away fans. FFS
  6. as I said yesterday in the match thread, I felt Eustace was too slow with making his changes and his triple subs far too late. When we went behind at 2-1 I said to the person I go with I would have made a triple sub changed which would have been Chrisene, Buckley and Moran for Pickering, Tronstad and Wharton. and go 4-2-3-1 going OTT yet again in typical Abbey style as per usual after a defeat. No one near rank all time worst. Gilsenan is injured so he won't be playing
  7. He doesn't play wide, he plays part of front and each of the front 3 in changed positions
  8. We had 3 shots on target yesterday. Which defender would you drop for another forward or midfielder? Its you winding yourself your self up Abbey, not me. Yesterday wasn't one of our worst showing of club history, Stop going OTT after a defeat. Who would you drop for extra midfielder or attacking player?
  9. wrong again Abbey. I have said our season ticket prices and match day prices are wrong and should be lower and Rovers focus should be filling Ewood Park with home fans, said the food options within Ewood Park isn't good enough, slammed Waggott and the Club Secretary for the 3 failed transfer deadline signings. So your comment I defend the every action he takes is bollocks and wrong. So why did we win at Leeds in front of 37k fans? Didn't Rovers offer free kids tickets with adult ticket bought or ST holder? also didn't play on Sunday not Saturday? Leeds game wasn't it free hit either
  10. and plenty we lost aswell with him here. We seem to be better team when we have less possession. As my original point was we have decide what type of team we want to be next season and whether we become more of counter attacking team or possession based team or wing based team
  11. I haven't mentioned Waggott in posts or whether it was right to sell 7k fans to Sheffield Wednesday but commented that them having 7k fans at Ewood Park played zero part in our losing that game?
  12. Woah, I heard it all now. as me and others said it played no part. Just people looking for excuses and if they can't play in front on 7k away fans then how did they play at Elland Road in front of 37k and win there then? does he? tell me more please? where they Fruit scones or butter scones or cherry scones? was Jam and Clotted cream served with them?
  13. I haven't mentioned Waggott once in my post Abbey. of course the Sheffield Wednesday player would say that, So if it affect them yesterday then how do you explaining winning at Leeds in front of 37k fans or Sunderland then if they aren't play in front of 7k sheff wed fans FFS?
  14. It been problem all season tbh. Here are some examples for you Under JDT we had over 50% possession in games and lost like QPR at home, WBA away, Hull away, Huddersfield away, Watford at home, Sheffield away, PNE at home draw like Huddersfield at home, Rotherham at home, won at Stoke away with less 50%, Norwich away. won at home to Bristol City, Birmingham at home with more than 50%
  15. Playing a back 3 at home isn't negative is it Gallagher doesn't play on the wing but part of front 3 and they interchange positions.
  16. I stand by my point and ain't arguing with you cos its pointless. and the it was 54 minutes by the way. Majority of the game. After we scored the atmosphere was quiet for rest of the 1st half.
  17. I don't think it got anything to do with pressure but basic decision making from Pears. Pears should have headed it into touch and we regroup and remains nil nil on the 3rd goal, Pears has time to take touch and then clear it but elected to clear it first time which he fluffed. On Hyam, I wouldn't have took him off at Bristol City either but factor in we lost Wharton at half time aswell.
  18. Also another point to say we had 60% of possession yesterday and lose. In the 4 other games under Eustace when we had more than 50% of possession we have lost 2 and draw 2. Bristol City away and Ipswich at home were the 2 we lost Millwall at home and Cardiff away were the draws Looking forward to the summer and next season, we need to decide what type of team we want to be and what tactics/formation we will used and focus making signings that fit into those.
  19. exactly, The players played well at Leeds in front of 37k week before and won. Can't used that as a excuse either. it didn't make one bit of different IMO and they weren't that loud for most of the game only when winning.
  20. Also another thing I noted yesterday was how many simple balls over the top down our left hand side of our defence cause problems cos Wharton too slow to turn or too high up.
  21. how did he set up wrong Philip? nothing to do with 2 mistakes from our number 1 after Pears very good performance at Leeds?
  22. I still don't understand why Pears didn't clear the ball in touch for the first goal instead of giving it Hyam when Pears can see the Sheffield Wednesday player near him. For the 3rd goal, Why didn't Pears take a touch like he has done all game before trying to clear it.
