  2. He’s a terrible loser. He’s always thought he’s better than what he is. That video -prior to a JDT masterclass at Swansea- said it all when he was going in about us eventually stopping running. I think we won 3-0 that day? In some respects, I hope he takes them up, because they’ll get an absolute pasting with their style of play, and his post match interviews will be hilarious. With how quiet their fans were today too, it shows how riveting their style of play is. I’m not sure I remember a quieter away end at Ewood?
  3. Another hard fought point, that would have been 3 on another day. This John Eustace team reminds me of the early days of the Hughes period- not exactly gifted, but willing to die to get points on the board. Time for another bev 👍
  4. Someone needs to get a grip of this and lead a unified effort, before we’re in the same state as Reading. I’ve personally not stepped foot inside Ewood since JDT left. I suspect others are the same. Alarm bells need to be ringing now though. Can we get a meeting organised asap on Zoom, and get a committee in place, to put together some coordinated action?
  5. I’ve just heard Pears is out on Saturday, which means Leo’s in goal. If that’s the case, I’ll be going to the pub instead of Ewood.
  6. Well done Smod! Pears is going to be difference between us staying up and going down.
  7. We’ve gone full circle in playing style here. This has been like watching paint dry for long periods. It reminds me of the Allardyce days, without the threat of set pieces.
  8. Call them every name under the sun then, and see where that gets us… The common enemy here isn’t Rovers fans, it’s the clowns running the club.
  9. I suggested that on another post, we have several working parties, focusing on different roles, in order to spread the workload. Full credit to those lads too, but we need to learn from those protests- what worked well and what wasn’t worth the effort.
  10. I agree about the above Without meaning to sound offensive, as fans (me included), we just look like a bunch of angry keyboard warriors. It’s crying out for someone to take the lead and direct. I’m hoping the above Facebook group- which I’ve joined- does that.
  11. From my perspective, rather than laughing at these fans (some of which are completely barmy, admittedly), we need to try and educate them, if we’re going to get rid of the clowns running the club. It’s vital, that in times like this, we’re a unified voice, to be as effective as possible.
  12. Lots of different groups appearing here. We need one unified group to be as effective as possible. Without wanting to sound picky too, people running the social media events/ groups/ pages, need to be literate, so that we’re taken seriously. Joined Time to use this publicity and get the protest movement up and running.
  13. Ideally, we need to set up a meeting on Zoom or in a pub, to coordinate unified action. From that, I’d propose setting up different working groups. Group 1- Focus on protests at Ewood and away games on match days. Group 2- Focus on internet based protests, such as commenting on Venky’s social media pages. Group 3- Focus on applying on pressure The FA Group 4- Focus on digging into Venky’s in India and why they still keep hold of us. You get the picture, but we need to get organised.
  14. Good idea. I asked this yesterday (and I’ve not had a reply notification to my post), but has a committee been set up yet to get all these great ideas off the ground? It’s fine expressing our disapproval on here and other social media forms, but we need concrete action to start putting some proper pressure on Waggot and the clowns running the club.
  15. Something else that needs to be addressed too, to get as many people on board as possible, is who would take over our club, and put in X amount each year, to stop us from going to the wall.
  16. Remember reading on here about his signing on fee- was it in a newspaper article?
  17. Excellent ideas there… I’m not sure if this has been mentioned, but we could do with a working committee to get things organised and moving, otherwise these ideas will never become a reality. Within that, one sub-committee could focusing on the UK (pressuring Waggot and Pasha to walk) and the other one could focus on India. Also, targeted Facebook adverts might be useful… in Pune. When I was involved in the Darwen Bailey’s Field housing protest, some of the members paid out for a long running advert on Facebook, and it made people aware of the situation.
  18. Posted this on the other chat, but we should be contacting them on Facebook too. They have active accounts on there.
  19. Yesterday was the final straw for me. I’d happily do a Bolton or Portsmouth to get shut of them now. I think we need to start digging on social media. There are active Facebook accounts and pages like these, which they can be contacted on.
  20. Where do you seriously see this club going under the Venky/ Waggot stewardship of the club?
  21. Can you really see them sitting down in India and watching us play against West Brom? Or for that matter, any other games this season? Waggot‘s the one running the show, in my eyes.
  22. Disagree- I think Waggott’s telling Venky’s that they don’t need to spend any money at all, on players. Venky’s- being gullable- are lapping it up.
