  1. Thats just Benni being Benni there's nothing in it
  2. Bukharra this coming sunday for my birthday, looking forward to it.
  3. Went to the Clog yesterday and the Black horse somewhere in Clitheroe near chatburn today, both superb with chips to die for.
  4. We were having a discussion last week at the Cricket club saying we hadn't been to Auberge in ages and had heard it had dropepd off, so it's still decent Abbey aye? May have to schedule a visit.
  5. To be honest I always think the 3.50 carvery at Old Mother Redcap is half decent for a quick cheap fix. It is what it is and does that job ok.
  6. I finally got to the Clog and Billycock today, 6 of us went and all loved it. I had the devilled chicken and the wife the cheese and onion pie, both great. And the bottles of saspirella are a nice bonus. Will go again for sure.
  7. True alexanders, both him and Scholes could have walked, petty stuff.
  8. At times Barca controlled the game at a walking pace, masterclass in passing and movement. Rooney again was shocking.
  9. Although Iniesta has been MOTM, messi has been world class he makes the game look so easy, phenomenal
  10. More like time to revel in the fact that United have been outclassed in every way. Good times
  11. Awful challenge by Scholes a leg breaker
  12. Hopefully this could be the end of that annoying champions of england champions of europe song
  13. Wow should be 2-1 how did they not score then Ronaldo must be crying inside right now, been upstaged badly And now he spits his dummy out
  14. Rooney has been shocking again up to now he has to step up in these big games. Ronaldo has done nothing but his usual trick of knock the ball ahead and jump into someone for a free kick and a few long shots. Iniesta is the star so far Could all change though Get in 2-0
  15. Barca need to score when their on top or they will live to regret it
  16. Yer it's memerizing at times, as an aside someone one here on Monday said Burnley are exceptional to watch, well what does that make Barca?
  17. Valdes looks likes Uniteds best route to goal at present he looks dodgy
  18. One nil barca, totally against run of play. More goals to come
  19. Watched 'The Children' tonight, decent horror I'd recommend it to fans of the genre.
  20. Had to reschedule sadly, more pressing matters at hand, will defo go very soon though. Is the full menu on at lunchtimes?
  21. After hearing good reports of the cheese and onion pie we're finally going to try the clog and billycock tomorrow night. Any other recommendations off the menu, I like the look of the devilled chicken?
  22. Yup I started off just washing up and ended up....just washing up and helping with menial taks in the kitchen, peeling spuds, washing mussels that kinda thing, enjoyed it though. probably 10 years ago now for 3-4 years.
  23. Ah right must have been before my time, to me it's chans still but i recall people calling it Nellies but maybe I misheard them saying Elle's. The auberge used to superb but I havn't been for a long time, the early bird menu was fantastic value. Used to work there and the chef is a top bloke as well. For pub food I quite like the Eagle and Child over at Hurst Green.
  24. Which one was Elle's yoda? The best we have in Rishton now is Atlantic.
  25. Never been a Trek fan but have heard mixed reviews. Tonight I watched Welcome home Roscoe Jenkins, I found it quite funny and any film with James Earl Jones and Michael Clarke Duncan in is good in my books. Going to watch the inevitably awful 'Superhero movie' later just to laugh at how bad it is.
