I'd argue he was central to that but alongside it as the last election drew nearer his policies in general didn't go down well with joe public.

Massive difference his presence seems to hold it together at the back.

Abysmal ref but lets not hide everything behind that it was another water treading performance. Plus side is we used to lose those.

They don't call him U turn Boris for nothing though if the heat gets hot enough and there's a bus coming she'll be under it.

Or the anything but Corbyn and far left Labour ! Never kid yourself that wasn't a major factor outside certain areas.

Something someone posted on twitter about Patel saying she was given license to kick ass and shake things up. Many depts far to comfy and cosy and not getting things done. All part of the big overhaul desperately needed in areas of govt etc that have been overlooked far too long. Maybe there's a fair point in all that, not that i'm saying it's right or condoning some of her alleged behavior. Makes you wonder though if that's why she's getting the backing she has...for now at least.

I don't think there's many good words for Cameron or May either and i think in this era Blair would've been taken apart a whole lot quicker. Social media whips up the storms before the mouths have finished the sentences in the HoC. Him and Campbells bull shitting double act would've been under instant and far more wide reaching scrutiny. Boris meanwhile keeps taking the rope he's being given so unless he pulls of something good in the near future he might end up dangling from it. Like i said though i think he'll be off before that happens he's nowhere near as daft as he looks.

Well he's in Chorley now so if he's looking for a scrap he's in the right place 😮 Bit of a rep will have him a target for the lower league henchmen as well so you reap what you sow.

I think that could be attributed to a lot of PMs though so he isn't unique in all that. Anybody in that job needs a teflon skin and he wears it well no doubt. The times he's in charge of though are quite unique and would have seen a few run for hills by now, he's developed Blair levels of teflon.

Banter ! What i do mean though is she won't be getting away with that now here cards are marked and it won't need a union to get rid next time.

One of two things will happen with Boris i suspect, he'll completely dig himself into a hole he really can't get out of by over riding everything. Or he'll get through some of what he wants to get through like maybe Brexit then he'll bail out. Never really had the impression he's in it for the long haul but so far he's shown more balls than i thought he had.

He seems to operate a 2 strikes and your out policy, those strikes being ones that directly affect him rather than anything else. Her indoors must get on with Priti like Mrs Kean and Mrs D !

Well he's just dispatched his two so called best pals so there'd be no surprise if he Uturned on this and potted her at some point in the future.

Basically politics needs to get modernized as do some of the laws but whilst you have Labourites wanting 1970's style policies and Tories trying to emulate Thatcher it'll never happen. Those who crave the ideal world they think one or the other will bring need to weigh up the present world and realize new ideas are needed.

    Nobbers v Rovers, Tues 24 Nov 7.45pm

When Dack was fit most of it was tailored towards him and in recent times it's Armstrong. So i guess it would take both of them leaving before he looks to tailor things to Gallagher or Brereton regularly. That's probably part of the long term plan he seems to see himself as a developer of players and stability rather than a bold go getting promotion charger, despite what he says.

These are the little bits of things that can make a huge difference over a season, the fine margins.

And that's how you use a guy like him especially now we have a young lad who can deliver the balls but no lets use him as a substitute wide forward. Blood boiling waste of 5 million.

    Summer Transfer Window

Good signings for them but shows how they were nowhere near up to scratch here especially Henley. Shame he got the niggling injuries but in truth he was never up to it a bit like Bell. Hope he invested the wages he used to boast about wisely.

But you end up also with those playing the system didn't you read gumboots post. If everyone threw a straight bat there wouldn't be a problem but this is the real world not the perfect one. I did also say that having to create a system which is so easy to play begs the question why it was needed in the first place i'e the cause of so much genuine stress. Of course that went conveniently straight over some of the usual heads.

Heard a very similar story recently, amongst others. When you can sign off for stress on full pay for 6 months it's no wonder the system gets played all the time. Fact they had to introduce things like that in the first place though shows the whole thing is flawed imo.
