  1. You'd think that might have been taken into consideration in the upper corridors at Ewood especially seeing as recently they've been splitting bigger followings between the bottom corner and the top tier. They've reduced to Coventry tickets obviously but imo that's on the back of this one subsidising it and that is Waggot all over, rather pointless exercise. More brains in a pound of mince.
  2. They'll probably beat Stoke at home whilst we getting beat at Leeds so yes they will be well up for it in that case and we are just clinging to hope that the team that has let us down all season can actually show up. We both lose or draw this weekend then it's nerves all around. Whatever happens it's a stupid decision to let them pack out the end and hand more backing than necessary to their team and i can't think of another club in the land would do something so stupid.
  3. He's just treading the uber positive nice bloke line again we've seen so many times before and trying to keep everybody onside. If you can't call a spade a spade and take the players to task over that shower of excrement last night then you won't be going very far. Another modern player turned coach who is afraid to get tough.
  4. They'll say oh we can't do that but then can and have in the past when the club and local plod could be arsed. 4.5k would have been ample for Sheff Wed at normal price with the majority filling the upper tier that would have been the sensible thing to do. Didn't matter in the recent past our teams seemed to love it and it got them up for it but this lot have demonstrated it gives them the wobbles. 2 of the most nervous keepers iv'e ever seen, inexperienced kids and a few pros who are eyeing the door it's another recipe for disaster. I remain convinced some inside Ewood actually want relegation.
  5. Yep that's the English mentality we love being up against it it's in our DNA although slowly being erased from future generations. It's why the UK football pyramid is the deepest and best supported in the world from the Prem right down through division after division until you reach Sunday morning Pub league football. And quite honestly some of those Sunday morning beer monsters deserve people watching more than a lot of the entitled little wankers in the paid ranks.
  6. Imo it was forced from above although he might have okayed it because they weren't getting on and Trav himself had spit the dummy. However at clubs who want a strong squad it's a case of look son you'll have to sit tight and wait for the chance when it comes around again and it will. Here though it get the impression of Waggot sticking his hooter in and saying look if you aren't using him i'm not having ten grand a week plus captains bonus sat on the bench and coming moaning to me. There's interest so lets get him off the pay role (like Buckley) and save money whilst possibly generating a fee for him in summer. 'Ok but i need another good body to replace' Well there's no money but i'll ring around and see who has an injured or old player they'll lend us for a few months, failing that it's another kid.
  7. I was thinking more in terms of the players behind the scenes.
  8. Sending out Travis i think might have been the straw that broke the camels back for JDT he was club captain and probably the heartbeat of the dressing room.
  9. Does it even get as far as Vs rejecting it or in reality is it just Waggot and their guy in the shadows batting it off using the excuse ?
  10. He's never had a plan he just wings it year to year just looks at the min income target to ensure he stays in his job then looks for ways to guarantee hitting it. A few grand from a couple of thousand extra Sheff Weds fans isn't going to make or break this seasons finances we'd just sold 25 mill worth of players FFS. Losing our Championship status might just break the club though over the next couple of years but i suspect he'll be sat at home enjoying the millions he's earned here by then.
  11. Too many of the senior pros heads are elsewhere by the looks of it but who is surprised they've probably all been told they can leave for the right offer in summer. Some are blaming the rumour that they tried to flog Hyam in Jan behind his back but is there any actual evidence of it and how do we know he didn't indicate he'd be up for it ?
  12. Was at Oldham away and i recall it was scorching hot (yes in early May) and was puzzled Rovers fans were chanting Orient until my mates dad explained why 🤣 Only other thing i remember is we got walloped on the pitch and there was fighting in the enclosure at the side !
  13. Yeah but they all turned up to the last one because they are the earths greatest fans. One gate made the seasons averages above 3k 🤣
  14. I expect some sort of reaction to that horror show last night but ultimately we'll crumble again. Leeds 3 Rovers 1
  15. Not a chance, all he sees is another 20k crowd, almost half made up of away fans. How much did he waste on Fleck ? Yet no one calls out these stupid decisions when it's easier to blame fans for not turning up.
  16. I said right at the time those games would haunt us, if we'd gone for it even if we'd won one lost one we are a point better off now. People will say 'hindsight' but no the questions were raised at the time pre match they should have been viewed as must win, we've seen what we can do when that is the mentality.
  17. Wouldn't be surprised if it was tactical which is what we thought at the time but it made things worse so now its become a 'twinge' in the back !
  18. This cockwomble has also given Sheff Wed the full 7k therefore giving them their cup final when literally everything should be done to be providing every ounce of home advantage we can find. He genuinely doesn't give a fuck about anything other than his bonus related income sheet.
  19. Broughton in not as many words basically said they were both busted flushes otherwise they wouldn't be coming to Rovers in a Jan window. Now when our DoF talks like that it's no wonder we struggle.
  20. I've defended him and stand by that because he was just brought in to fight fires, use what he has and came into a bit of a hopeless situation at a hopelessly run club. However that tonight was as bad as it gets in all areas including subs and tactics. Still think he'll do enough to grind us to safety but i'll confidently predict we'll be howling for his head by next Oct.
  21. Sick of this prat now he turns up when he feels like it the rest of the time saunters around in a daze yet first to shush frustrated loyal paying fans, moan about them in meetings and on commentary, Arrogant useless tit, first out the door in summer for me if we can get a fee. This isn't knee jerk iv'e never taken to him he reminds me so much of Scott Dann, can be a good player but he's no captain. Didn't want to leave Coventry they had to sell him, came here to challenge the top 6 but looks disinterested half the time because that's not happening. Just here as a stepping stone, well step off it elsewhere and lets bring a defender in who concentrates for 95 mins every game.
  22. Absolutely knew this would happen turning up 'must not lose' attitude.
  23. Celeb footballer earning 35k pwk even though his legs had gone got paid off and had to retire so decided to spend his wedge on coke. Now wants sympathy. Well worn story we've seen and heard so many times before.
  24. Cheston knew Rovers well enough to know that would go down like a lead balloon with fans but he was serving and defending his masters for his own ends. Anyone with an ounce of care for the club or the fans would have been steadfastly against the appointment of Coyle for a host of reasons and it wouldn't be personal towards the man himself. He also knew but like Kean would put up with horrendous flak for his 30pcs of silver. Balls to the pair of them.
