Maybe Carl Gustafsson from Kalmar would be a nice addition to midfield. Someone who can run his socks off. But, he's been struggling with injury this season and hasn't played since April. Before that, Brugge in Belgium was rumoured to be interested.

We should have pulled the plug on the deal as soon as they started talking about what Rovers could do for the Venkys brand instead of the other way around. It was clear fromt the start, as you say, that the club was only bought to bolster the image of the owner.

burnley is apparently close to signing Hjalmar Ekdal from my favorite team Djurgårdens IF. Annoying as he is one of the best defenders in the Swedish league.

I'd love for us to be all over that. But rumour is a fee between 3-4m EUR, so guess we wouldn't spend that much money on a CB.
