Al
Nico Rosberg yesterday won the F1 Championship but it is a hollow victory brought about only by reliability problems with Hamilton's car. Rosberg is not and never will be Hamilton's equal as a driver.

Agreed, but the biggest problem is the lack of competition for mercedes at the front of the grid. 20 poles from 21 races, a race win in 20 out of 21 races. Hamilton was deliberately going slow, and they couldnt catch him. I know there is another shake up of the rules again this close season, but the FIA have a responsibility to provide an element of entertainment. Even as a big Hamilton fan, Id love to see some kind of equal battle between him, Vettel, Verstappen and Alonso at the front.
donnermeat
Red Bull are probably going to take both Championships next season, they have the car and they know it. The current Mercedes is at the end of it's life.
Al
I'm not a betting man but I reckon that Mercedes will still be up there next season.

Al
He knows he was very fortunate to win the F1 championship and wisely wants to retire as champion before he is beaten next season.
