It's pretty obvious from your postings that you have no respect whatsoever for an individual's right not to actively protest and you say you wont sit next to people who won't protest next season etc yet you expect to be afforded the utmost courtesy when handing out unsolicited material outside the ground to people who may not have exactly the same views as you.

I'd say if you feel handing stuff out like that on an unsolicited basis is the right thing to do then by all means go for it but I wouldn't have thought you could be too surprised if you got a bit of gip handing out unsolicited material anywhere at any time in any situation.

Come off it. They were peices of paper painted red. Its hardly pornographic material and to be sworn at. I remember your articles in the telegraph, if people emailed you telling you your articles were shit im sure you would be pretty peeved off and as you say people are entitled to their opinions

I was with Mike Neal and talk sport Dave today... Flyers flew throughout our hands, every single one went to a fan.

What I noticed was club colours I.e those in rovers gear took these and even came up for some.  the Asian population took these too.

problem lies with one gamers who think going to football in crag hoppers and a flask of coffee somehow passifies being above everyone.

these types and in 14 years of supporting Blackburn and the town have I ever seen our fans show such rudeness.

Il battle on there even if I'm last man standing as I won't let my club die

But of course you're not being rude about people who wouldn't take a card classifying them as "one gamers" and flask users. Lol

Yeah, but they were UNSOLICITED. The horror. Mike's lucky he didn't get a beating before being presented to Owen Coyle to walk over as he made his way into a stadium of adoring fans.

Does anyone have any idea what happens with the scrapping in JW Lower? Seems to come out of nowhere.

Be interested to see how many of those that raised their games against United on the tele can raise it against Burton on Friday. Quite enjoyed today, was a welcome break from the appalling league form with the pressure off.

Come off it Rev! There are people out there who will be astonished when the Raos close shop and they can"t get their fortnightly fix.

You don't have to agree with someone's point of view to recognise that they love their club and are giving their time freely to try and save it. in fact, that normally would set off a thinking alert in the brain.' How come these guys are handing out red cards and copping abuse? Wonder if there is anything to it?"

Glen Mullen is a hero now but it wasn't always this way. I can remember him getting stick from people who are now quiet.

Its all about knowledge v ignorance and some of our bovine fans seem to prefer the latter.

Doesn't matter. Revolutions are driven by the 15% while the 85% sit on their hands wondering which way to jump.

So don't lose heart Mike E, keep doing what you are doing, you will be in the majority eventually, hopefully in time to save our Club.

Why should Graham depend on the manager to stop himself getting unfit and overweight? Doesn't he have any pride in himself?

Easy to slip into bad ways when its the culture at the club. Same in Dally Duncan's time Jim. A good, new manager would set them on the right road as Lambert did. And Mark Hughes before him.

Enjoyed the game today far more than I thought I would.  I thought we played as well as we could and the atmosphere was excellent.  This shows that we can do it but we need to do it when it matters in League games starting at Burton on Friday night.  I came away from Ewood feeling much happier than I have for some time.  Sorry that Mike E got abuse.  No need for that.  If you don't want to take part in the protest then simply ignore it but no need to abuse those who do.

Just ignoring the problems , or abusing those who give something a try ... all as bad as each other

First live game I've seen this season. Had the feel of our brave 1-0 loss at Anfield under John Pickering when we ended up going down to the 3rd Div.

Steele had remarkable little to do, so didn't look hopeless.

Lowe played very well I thought, the pick of the back 4. Greer looked lower league to me and the other two I can't recall a thing about.

Feeney did ok with a couple of his crosses but other than that is no Ian Millar. Mulgrew I thought looked a bit of a crock, the other centre mid didn't register on my consciousness. Conway past it, if indeed he was ever alongside it. Mahoney looked the next Duffer, left Pogba for dead! Pogba!!

Emnes looked a real handful first half but disappeared second. Graham I thought looked poor except for the goal.

The manager looked a tawt.

The worst thing either of them could do is stay here. Look what it's done to Lowe and Henley. Not saying either of them would have gone on to be world beaters, but they undoubtedly had more potential than has ultimately been fulfilled. You could easily argue it stalled the progress of the likes of Hanley too. Newcastle very quickly realised they'd been had at £5m.

Lowe has been shit his whole career, as has Henley. Hanley stayed and got a move to Newcastle where I'm sure he's on £30k plus a week, yes I'm sure he's really regretting that.

Got put right off our fans today. I stood in the rain for 90mins handing out red cards, to be insulted by people on both sides (Utd fans were actually more courteous), and no obvious sign that there is any issue with our owners.

Not renewing next season to be sat next to a bunch people who would rather insult me than speak up against the Raos.

Screw the lot of them.

Part timers, casuals and lapsed Prem fans most of em i bet. No idea nor concern what's going on they are only there for a day out and won't be back until the next big one.

Just over 15k home fans and probably only about half of them regulars tells it's own story.

90% of pro players will do exactly what they are made to do and no more. They'll give you all sorts of reasons for this. Number one is the fear of exacerbating existing injuries etc. The other 10% are the top pro's who will rise to the top because they have that inner motivation.

Bang on the money, guess which we have due to our great owners.

Friday we will be back to normal unfortunately.

Lowe was captaining England youth sides at one point so he clearly had some potential. Henley looked decent as a kid but needed to be loaned out to toughen up. Never was and is now a weak, ineffectual player.

As for Hanley, he would have been on over £20k a week here anyway. Not sure how much better he could have been considering his overall on-pitch intelligence, but it would have been interesting to see what a manager like Allardyce or Pulis could have done with him.

What are you on about? I haven't insulted anyone for wishing not to protest. I HAVE expressed that I feel it's the wrong thing to do and have done so without insulting them.

My post is not the result of 'a bit of gib' from today. I just feel that today was the final straw after multiple previous attempts over 6 years at engaging with fellow supporters were greeted with insults, hearing-related degradation, and spit (as I've explained before).

I dread to think how you feel about charity workers in the town centres, or do you falsely accuse them of insulting non-donors too?

I'm with you on this Mike. People have been castigated on here for saying some of our fans deserve the owners but they really do deserve them.

I feel like giving up and washing my hands of everything Rovers when I hear of such a response and apathy.

Absolutely.

I've boycotted for a few seasons now and I would genuinely fear my reaction if confronted by those so called fans abusing protesters.

I find it astonishing that so-called "professionals" get out of shape. As a decent amateur player I loved playing the game and kept in the best shape I could. My weight never shifted and I trained hard. The likes of Graham who become overweight shows to me they have no pride in their profession and it also shows why the likes of Lincoln can beat a Premier League club. The pro game is rotten to the core IMO.
