Nah, he'll be off to Real Madrid just like any other player. That club has led a cosy life being paid for by Franco, then Madrid's local government whenever they want to spend big. They're like Ferrari in formula one, who always get the most cash from the company that runs the show because they are Ferrari.

    Old Rovers Footage

The mid 70s were a great time following the Rovers with both the League Liner and the Ewood Express, each holding around six hundred. I went to York, possibly 1974, on a Blackburn Corporation single decker in green, cream and red. Loads of coaches went that day and there was no restriction on the arrival time in those days. We had several hours to kill before kick off and a few coach loads went up to the railway station to await the arrival of the Ewood Express. As it pulled in, all the doors opened before it stopped and hundreds of lads were running along the platform to a cacophony of noise as all the coaches lot joined in as well. Happy days, didn’t matter we were in the 3rd Division, everyone seemed to get behind the lads at a time when Blackburn had a thriving night life. It really was ‘Our Town, Our Team’ and that’s coming from a Darrener!

Would be some coup but never going to happen. They would need to spend 200+ million for that to happen.

Reaping the benefits of a 60000 taxpayer subsidised stadium. Alright for some. Not for their rivals or the taxpayer.

Seriously, please read this through to the end. Johnson in one anecdote. If I were a Brexiter, I'd be very worried...

    Championship season 2019-20

Stoke will have known their budget and will have been working on that basis since March knowing what league they were going to be in with their manager wanting to make changes ahead of next season. Our manager didn't even know the owners intentions, let alone budget, until he flew around the world a couple of weeks ago since when he's been on holiday. Not rocket science is it?

    Summer Transfer Window 2019

Yet again there's stuff out about Mulgrew, last season it was he should be a left back and this season he should be a midfielder. Pointless he's said himself he only wants to play centre half as that's where he plays for the national team and that is important to him. He gets in that team because he starts regularly in that position and captains Rovers he also really doesn't strike me as the type who likes being told what to do. Plus his legs really are that far gone that no way can he even 'sit' in midfield. The thought of it is interesting but the cold hard reality of it is it isn't happening now or anytime soon so enough of this converting players lark lets just hope Mowbray sees sense finally and is able to bring in people who play in their natural positions and who are good enough at it to grab a place and keep it.

Like the look of that but think Travis is better suited a bit further forward rather than being a CDM. Would hope Davenport nails down the CDM spot but our midefield would be extremely young then so expect Evans will play there - unless we sign one of these experienced players we keep getting linked to. Morrison would be a decent shout for midfield as a short-term option.

    Summer Transfer Window 2019

If we do buy two CB’s then I expect us to play three. This would allow us to play three midfielders in front of them and two strikers or Dack in a free role off the main striker. Lenihan Mulgrew Bauer/? Nyambe / ? Bell Travis ? Rothwell Dack Graham / ?

His goals didnt really bring that much in terms of benefit tbh. We lost far more games when he was in the team than we won. Admittedly, if he can play int he team and score goals without then losing said games, big benefit indeed.

I think it is more important that we stop conceding the amount of goals that we have been.

Stoke have signed Liam Linsday from Barnsley for an initial £2m. I think a few posters fancied him here. https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11713/11743112/stoke-agree-deal-to-sign-liam-linsday-from-barnsley-for-up-to-2-5m

Losing Mulgrews passing and free kicks cannot happen. He was a midfielder his legs are gone, but he won't need them as a sitter. I don't want to lose his better qualities from the team, especially his free kicks as he'll score 10 a season. We need those goals 😊

Daniel Ciofani from Frosinone in Serie A is available. He is 33 but has kept himself very fit. Captain of the team. He would be a great player to have to spell off DG. Not sure if he would come to play in England though.

Point taken, but as Joe points out below, they lose considerable markup.

The other funny bit is that it’s £20. They could slap a Blackburn badge and a 10Bet logo on that and they’ve got themselves a £60 kit somehow.

If that’s not the away kit (assuming I won’t like whatever it ends up being), I’d just buy that. And the home version, frankly.
