  1. Which will never happen with all the shenanigans happening off it and the imbeciles running it ... come on folks finally wake up and smell the coffee for christ sakes!! rinse repeat rinse repeat.. nothing changes
  2. We haven't been since the malarkey began with the goons in Pune I've said it before ... some of us didn't and tried years ago ago and made big decisions.thereafter.. not a fan of JDT 's way of play, feel sorry for him non the less with the circus above him but also feel he gave up a a few months ago of really caring and has been/is waiting for a payoff Why is anybody surprised - Go back ten years or even longer on this board and every 12 months onwards and you will find similar post /feelings etc 'its just rinse repeat every season despite any of the managers we have had in .. nothing changes even for the players - the early spirit goes and they get dragged down into the malaise -its it any wonder we see the way players seem to lose form/interest or even care!! Might sound dark but as many of us realised many moons ago ... ahem.. cough .. the club has cancer within which could prove to be terminal but remove it and we stand a fighting chance of recovery to be back in to a good level of health . I just don't get how after all this time and what has happened 'rinse repeat' that there is still a large % who cannot see it
  3. Indeed ... " Oh you'll never go to heaven.. in a biscuit tin.."
  4. IF ever there was a a legend he was the guy ..true Blue n White to the core As with many only knew him through the Rovers and had the odd chat and 'alreet passing comment at games etc RIP Birdy
  5. his words though about after the wc ...the way this league is at the moment, doesnt seem to be that difficult as we have seen - don't see Luton as having had big investment,,,😉
  6. 7m or 7 days , its the manner of the performances more than anything - we appear to getting worse rather than improving, was it jdt who said we would be a different team after the wc break ..
  7. I think it probably is, however lacklustre is down to the manger to sort is it not ..something that he doesn't appear to be capable of changing
  8. agree to sone extent but we aint been seeing the brereton diaz of late only brereton and questionable if at all this season since the cheshire cat rocked in ..note he has also been in the other atrocities this srason has he not so it sort of moots your point
  9. not disregarding the factor of Brereton being out , just saying it wouldn't have made much difference today given his recent performances.. .the way the team has played other than a canary team in the doldrums and even then we rode our luck in parts in both matches ... rinse and repeat, rinse and repeat Agree with you on the 2nd part but that ain't going to happen , and even if we did manage to get anybody in, I have no confidence this manager would be able to change things - the whole mannerism of our performances is just samey samey /rinse and repeat( and boring even in victory)
  10. nothing embarrassing other than the performance and the pretence of the manager (again) Its rinse repeat all the same , regardless of brereton being out , who recently has not really made much of an impact either there is no drive or leader on the pitch - Dack trys to speed things up and get the ball moving but the rest are just so pedestrian and the play is so boring and predictable .. rinse repeat.
  11. + adding into the fact we are on a 'project' and the apparent feeling of not giving it a big push to go for promotion ( and the downplay by the cheshire cat) Its all BS really -its the cup and a one off and all about what happens on the day which can throw up all sorts of situations -just go for it. Any wonder fans give it the contempt if managers and clubs don't take it seriously as well as all teh media and the different day fixtures
  12. altogether now 'you can stick your ferkin project up yer arse' first draw of season 'you can stick your ferkin project up yer arse'
  13. seconded , and that's even by also laying that some of the issues are from the position moboring left us in
  14. So so predictable - and sackable in its own right imo - meticulous in his prep apparently ..yeah right - a fookin derby and they give arguably one of the worst performances ever in a derby that I have seen - all evidence was there on how to get at them from the last couple of weeks and exactly what we shouldn't do as in the pissing about with the ball at the back - Christ teams have gone there recently and given them a game - even Crawley - so much for knowing exactly what it was about and done by cart horse Barnes who the bunleh fans said was next to useless... Absolute bollux and again sackable in its own right which ain't no knee jerk but many will disagree ... Today this is more than a disappointment or setback they are an embarrassment especially for the fans at the game ..no excuses
  15. For me we always seem to huff and puff and struggle to get anything out of games with Huddersfield at home ( a bit like QPR) - think this will be much harder than we expect and fear a draw -hope I'm wrong
  16. Today for me will tell where we actually are 'in the are we any good question' Hedges and Brittain missing is a big loss and although we have the recent victories we have not exactly set the world on fire or been convincing in any of the wins. Tough game and along with the Coventry can't see past 2 draws at best, so the resilience we seem to have built will be a major factor. Lets hope we show our credentials, as other than the Huddersfield game could end up being on a bad run in for the visit to the Turd.
  17. Yes still all smelly stuff down in the corridors at EP - until the background is dismissed we still have a long and arduous path to travel.
  18. Does it really matter what position we are in -as long as we don't look like relegation candidates, - we are apparently on a project transformation about whether we stay up - for me if we see more progression of what we see on the field and how we play-after the boring mowbollx I haven't got clue what I am doing scenario; it's a bonus.
  19. yes - not the best but does fill up with away fans Yep Yep so is Berkley next door and Raven just further up before Weatherspoons ( deceiving as it has has a good largish beer Garden at the back and serves food ) - both normally have the football on -all across from Wallgate Station just up the hill across the road Yes also decent for variety ales also Normally find Rovers in them all - there is also the recently opened 'Whelans' bar at the ground but not sure if they let away fans in or not ( they do for the Rugby though)
  20. Unlikely Gav not at the price - struck by it for years and and advocate for twenty is plenty and especially now in current times May be swayed by Saturday ( my eldest son follows 'the tics' - no he couldn't be converted even though he has been Rovers many a time over the years ) its the usual as it is for many his mates go and he's at the age now to be able to pay and go himself
  21. No 20 is plenty Totally agree and my stance - only 10 -15 min walk for me - normally a good day because of this but they can do one for that price NO ... as above Correct - run of the mill games are certainly no vfm in the Championship
  22. As the bear went over the mountain ... but never went to heaven in a biscuit tin 😁
  23. Anybody know where Gary Cahill has gone -possible short term solution /wages too much or pay as you play?
  24. Just back in the country - Sad news . Great ambassador in the fight against the disease.Taken far too early RIP Lenny- I still remember the Wham game fondly.
