  1. Been for four tickets this morning. Ticket office lady reckons "over 9000" been sold. Probably another 3000 will pay on tonight. Can't wait I bloody hate the close season
  2. When the club has offered £15 tickets to sit anywhere, I usually 'treat' myself to a JW Upper Central view. But for the replay I'll stick to my £10 Riverside 'Top Tenner- Cheap Get' seat. Hopefully when we win this one and get Colly at home, the club will act/review how this game's attendance was effected by this pricing plan
  3. Looking forward to this match. Gonna get my ticket down there. Never been to Ninian Park before. Any of this anti English malarkey and I will be straight into Glaswegian tourist mode I hope we field a strong team and go for the win. I'm fed up with this "Premier League bread and butter " nonsense. Lets aim to win every game we can.
  4. Agree with Glenn. The Season Ticket holders who have travelled to away games, should be given a few days start on those ST holders who have not been to as many away games. It's as fair as you can make it.
  5. The phone lines were busy this morning too. Managed to get a 'cheap' £27 ticket
  6. Where you got that from? Iv just walked past the court about 15 minutes ago and there are about 15 camera men outside/ One lad came out as i walked past with his face covered from the media I believe the Official Site has mentioned it Sorry no link
  7. doint want to be pedantic but its 0.001 Stella 2/20,000 * 100 = 0.01% To check: 20,000 * 0.01/100 = 2 Detention for you Theno
  8. I am convinced Rovers will finish above the Geordies
  9. Sat in the row in front of that carry on. I relly can't stand the "two pound an hour" and all this "mums your dad" garbage that the cretins chant. Get rid of them all. You know who you are. Beat it
  10. If Norwich beat the Massive tonight, we will at least get a point. If not get to the bookies and bet on a first Premiership win for Norwich. However, It's my first away of the season so thats a nailed on win for us 5-4 Rovers
  11. We are really poor at the moment, and bereft of confidence. This alone signals a severe tubbing for the Rovers. However we also have the fact that Chelsea have never beaten us at Stamford Bridge in the Prem. So a poor Rovers team and our amazing knack of giving players/teams there first win/goal/clean sheet/throw in............(you know where I'm going ) ensures a heavy defeat.
  12. I was hoping you would have told me it was £26. I could'nt be bothered to re-register on the official site for the nth time So I eventually did
  13. Can only remember scrappy games, with the winner for either team being as scabby as a lepers dandruff Got a feeling we will lose this one
  14. The Away section at Goodison surely qualifies?
  15. Dissappionted with the result, but this has been tempered with the performances of Dickov (superb), Ferguson ( should be playing like that more consistently) and Emerton (see Ferguson). However I feel we have a touch of 'Youri-mania' kicking off. He had a good game but not as fantastic as some reports would have you believe. I have been defending Amo since he arrived, but he is kinda sh$te and should be sent to the stiffs forthwith. Also I reckon a few games there for young Stead would be in order. Not as a punishment, but to hopefully let him slap a few goals in and boost his confidence. On recent displays, Boothroyd must be played before him. We played better, but I keep getting the 'Kiddo- feeling', where we are all neat and tidy, flatter a bit with lots of possession and no penetration, then concede crappy goals at the death.
  16. Need to be convinced. Still he did play well last night. Remember it was one game. I remember one game last season where a big Italian centre back never gave him a sniff. Said centre back has been derided by several members of this board. It's easy to get caught up in the media orgasm surrounding Rooney. Good luck to him, but its too early to be comparing him to Shearer
  17. This is a topic which has a cyclic orbit. It appears every few months and the same old and tired plans, reasons and suggestions are made. The people, regardless of origin, simply do not want to come and watch Rovers. Personally speaking the club have tried as best they can to tempt, tease and bribe new fans to push the turnstile. Maybe Press Gangs should be employed! Attention should be turned to the fans who are coming at present. We have seen dramatic falls in season tickets and attendances; the club needs to look after what it has, not what it could have.
  18. Got my mates and my ticket this morning. Lady at the ticket office estimates " around 5000 sold "
  19. Go with as strong a team as possible, give Bournemouth a severe footballing lesson, keep a clean sheet and boost team morale. Four games unbeaten at 'fortress Ewood'

    Songs

After his excellent performance on Saturday, I reckon Dickov needs his own songs. A variation on yours: He's small He's Jock 'sounds like he's lost his cock Paul Dickov, Paul Dickov
  21. wetness in the ground I think. Used in horse racing. Thought it was short for 'Penthouse quantity meter'
  22. Lordy, please NOOOOOOOOOOOOO Just read this. Would be absolutely terrible if it follows the same betting pattern as Souness' arrival at Newcastle showed.
  23. Either Gordon Strachan or George Graham
