Very sweet - the lad deserves some recognition for what he has brought (back) to our defense in the last few games. As Souness said, "if only he was 25 rather than 35"... I have vague recolections of when Rovers tried to sign him when he was younger - hindsight is such a beautiful thing

Went to see Beck at the Brixton Acadamy last week - he was in fine form with most of the melancholy last album stuff (fine if you've just been dumped and feeling sorry for yourself) compressed into the middle of a fine set, although the medley of 'Crazy in Love', 'Rock your body' and that TATU song a little odd - the wife who has more 'middle of the road' tastes enjoyed it though... Still a star.
