Uefa Cup for me. Having followed the Rovers for 40 years there are still 2 things that I haven't experienced - the FA Cup (always thought it a possibility) or a European trophy (beyond my wildest dreams). If we forget the Uefa in favour of the League then what's the point in qualifying? It sounds too much like Souness - "survival is the first piority - at any costs!!". What happened to ambition? Obviously don't want to go down and actually can't believe it's a serious topic of conversation at this stage - altjough we were abysmal the other night ... and that's stretching things. Why should one competition adversely affect another anyway? Look what happened when we won the League Cup - our season started there. If "sacrificing" the Uefa for the league was ever a consideration - and I can't believe it is - then that would be a massive insult to all those who have travelled around Europe so far...spending hard-earned cash in doing so. However - choice between FA Cup and Uefa Cup? Now that's a question. NB At least until early January!!!!!

Go along with the Sellars bit. But also: Speedie - for a small bloke he couldn't half jump and somehow always seemed to hang in the air. Always felt we would score with him playing. Duncan MacKenzie - especially against Coventry in the FA Cup - still one of the greatest individual performances I've ever seen. He destroyed them.

Well done Scotty - sums it up perfectly. Seeing "grown men" in tears, throwing away their blue & white scarves at the end - the lowest point in my Rovers career too. We'd waited so long and then - it was snatched from us ... and in those circumstances. It's difficult to explain to a third party but my non-Rovers friends who were with me on the day still don't let me forget it ... they'd never seen anything like it either. It started to go wrong during the warm-up in my opinion - we just didn't look confident enough. Been back lots of times since but still hate the place.

That's good then. And some good news about service from BRFC: As a non season ticket holder living down t'south my application went in a couple of days ago. The ticket office have just phoned my mobile to let me know that my tickets are being sent out today. Not bad, eh?

Have a flag that says "Wot, no Bovril!!" but FIFA wouldn't allow it onto the ground because Bovril were not an official sponsor!! It now says "Wot, no £$%*&"!!" which is acceptable!! But it does have the Rovers crest on it too. May be seen at a venue close to you very soon!

Last season I signed up for www.watch-football.tv. Life membership for about $9. Watched the Arsenal home game - slight delay and a bit jumpy but better than teletext!!! I can't find a schedule for next week but you never know...
