  1. Very enjoyable night tonight! Really enjoyed myself and was good supporting a very worthwhile charity and a good friend.
  2. Hi m1st Thank you for the reply; it certainly seems like it's all systems go with this. I have around 6 people interested in joining up. I have emailed a few other of Chris' old clubs in the vain hope that they will be able to help. Just have to raise the funds for the self fund option then will look at booking it as soon as I have the funds and I have 3 other interested parties.

  4. Reading the Lancashire Telegraph again about Chris Thompson and his battle with Depression up until his death. Whilst I'm not old enough to remember him play, we share something in common and that is we both suffer(ed) from Depression. However as my personal circumstances have fluctuated in recent years, this dream has appeared to be falling further from my grasp. However in recent weeks, my dream has come back and I have researched how I could do it for a Mental Health
  5. Absolutely tragic set of circumstances surrounding Chris' passing. I suffer from Depression too and cannot begin to imagine what Chris was going through in the months leading up to his untimely passing. I'm not old enough to remember him play for Rovers but my heart and thoughts go out to his friends and family.
  6. I have the Peter White book - 1875 to 1988. Lots of old pictures in there. Most of which from before I was born lol!
