Mowbray said BB was the best finisher in training. Mowbray also said this about Dack last season and Graham two weeks ago. He's probably said it about you at some point. BB is not worth £7m and I doubt he ever will be. NFFC must be cocking themselves laughing.

We can't send him back, that's the problem. Mowbray isn't very good in the transfer market, that much is very clear.

That's the worry☹️

Rovers v Birmingham-Saturday ,December 15th

There always seem to be a catalyst for a collapse and it always seems to be a defensive howler either by the keeper or the back 4. That could be just a lack of experience or it could be that the players aren't good enough (yet). Even Mulgrew, who is meant to provide the experience, defended appallingly for the Bannan goal against Wednesday t'other week. We got out of this league the last two times with battle hardened CB's and experienced GK's. We have a backline of relative novices at the moment in comparison. I think mistakes and collapses will continue for that very reason. -

Raya has got away with a lot of poor performances in the last 18 months. He makes great saves but the number of avoidable goals he gives away is criminal. He's been a lot better this season and not thrown as many in his own net but he needs competition so he can be dropped like every other keeper at every other club. The lack of competition brought in for Raya is another reason why this summers transfer business was so poor. -

It's not uncommon for teams to lose 2-0 leads quite quickly, especially ones who have been conceding a lot of goals. If Raya hadn't rushed out of his goal we would have won that game comfortably. That split second decision was the catalyst for the latest collapse. If it is a lack of organisation then Mowbray needs to rectify that. If it's a problem with the quality of defenders then that's another issue. I think it has a lot to do with a lack of experience at the back. Apart from Mulgrew they are all very young as defenders and keepers go. Caddis scored for Bradford today so maybe we let him go too soon? -
Lack of upper body strength. He's been earmarked for a run in the under 15's at some point although Mogga has his eye on a big fat 14 year old lad from Chorley FC who may be above him in the pecking order. Waggott is currently negotiating for t'Chorley lad but won't go above £12m.

Why do we concede so many last minute goals?

He cost us three points. The end. -
Raya cost us 3 points AGAIN today. I hope Mogga is still looking to bring in another keeper.

Raya is brain dead. Who rushes out to the edge of the area and runs into the opposition for absolutely no reason. The opposition have always a chance with him in goal. -
If Graham gets injured we're fooked.

Or not. He might make her move up here.

It's Blackburn, on match day, so it's inevitably going to piss it down. Match abandoned on 69 mins at 6-0 up after BB gets a rare start and bags 5. Or 1-1. -
It's good to see a Boycotter taking advantage of the offers on at other local clubs. Rovers till I die

Harsh. Especially the tackling bit. He goes into 50/50's that others would be happy to avoid. He also got promoted with Hull to the Prem so I'm not sure 'lower half Championship at best' is accurate, although the standard has improved in the 5+ years since Hull went up. I'd agree he's underachieved at Rovers, whether that's because of attitude or continual injury problems it's hard to say. However, I do think on his day he's a good old fashioned midfield schemer and that without spending a few £m he would be hard to replace.

Or, he was a regular in a team that finished higher than our current one ever has or is likely to. -
I'd rather give my hard-earned cash to Rovers than a team I don't support.

https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/3609903/hibs-mark-sykes-glenavon/ Linked with Glenavon midfielder Mark Sykes, or FFS(ykes) as he will be known by the Riverside. I'm here all week... I remember his current manager banging them in down at Brockhall for our youth teams in the late 90's.

I thought we were having a discussion? It's a shame you can't keep your end up old chap??
