  1. Just wait for the post Xmas injuries to kick in for yet another of Coyley's woefully unfit sides... this plethora of comedy late goals conceded tells you all you need to know. Legs, concentration, organisation? Happened at every one of them. His chubby Bolton side looked like they were heading for group type 2 diabetes.
  2. It's spelt, erm.......spelled. I don't want to be pedantic (which of course means I'm about to be pedantic) but you can use either "spelled" or "spelt", neither are incorrect. So, in summary, apart from your choice of football teams, and not being able to spell, what else are you @#/? at? You're not being pedantic - just being wrong. Try using an ENGLISH dictionary, after all that's our language. http://dictionary.oed.com/cgi/findword?que....x=22&find.y=18
  3. As a gentleman of pride and prejudice proportions, I reckon the ticket should go to the lady of the 2. Sorry Debs, better luck next time.
  4. It's a Mogwai antipasto. Followed by Boards of Canada as the primo. Finishing off with the usual Pere Ubu pudding of course. Molto Bene.
  5. The barmaid did not have a glass thrown in her face and did not have any stitches at all, you my friend are a liar. That's a weird accusation. It's as if you're trying to tell me you know exactly what happened and I don't. Big mistake sunbeam. The middle aged ITK really do make me chuckle.
  6. I was involved in the legal admin of this tragedy and I can tell you the man convicted was from Haslingden and was, according to his warped criteria, a Man City supporter drinking with a group of known Burnley troublemakers. He threw a bottle which killed the lad who, with his friends, were not unknown to the police. Result was a manslaughter conviction and a wasted life. I can also tell you of a barmaid who had a glass thrown in her face by a Rovers supporter in Preston about 5 years ago. Not dead fortunately but 30 odd stitches. Idiots at every club - and come monday morning on this board, who'll be licking their lips at tales of untold bravery, offs, revenge and manly feats of protecting the good name of Rovers. Gobshítes.
  7. I reserve the moral prerogative to comment on any dingle's posts. However, a dingle commenting on mine is totally unacceptable. Please refrain in future. I thank you.
  8. West Brom? Ask the many who have had a good kicking and had bottles rained down on them their about West Brom fans. Ask people about the antics of Leeds, Millwall, Cardiff, Stoke, MAn U, Liverpool, need I go on. In fact why not read a few posts on here glorying in the hard man antics of Rovers fans...... Where does the desparation stop? All over Burnley as it goes. You choose a few run down area's and suggest this is the entire town? I don't know Blackburn well but I bet within 10 minutes of landing I could find some dodgy estates, largely Muslim areas with similar social problems to daneshouse etc. Its interesting that you chose to peddle stereotypes about the people of Burnley whilst claiming to hate the people of Burnley for holding similar views - are you confused or just not over gifted with intelligence? Well said longsiders. Why aren't the mods doing their job on this boneheaded thread? An when it comes to xenophobic (racist), we've got nothing to brag about this season. People are going to get webbed all over Burnley on Sunday and the idiotic shíte posted on here is one great big contributing factor. Well done to all concerned.
  9. Wrestling... that's gay sex withouth the guilt isn't it?
  10. Who are you trying to impress? The nights just must fly by in your company. BanNanas. Genius.
  11. I haven't read every message here - but has anybody considered whether the leak (no pun intended*) came from the Welsh FA or Glyn Hodges himself. Hughes has obviously spoken to both parties in advance and they clearly wouldn't worry too much about the moral implications. Despite that, the club have handled this like a sunday league side - Hughes should have made everyone aware that the remaining staff were under review and the likely outcomes. Tony's shocked response seems to show that this hadn't happened. Amateurish. * Well, maybe slightly.
  12. I hope there's an proper tribute/testimonial to him - he deserves huge thanks. However, if there isn't an appropriate or meaningful job for him at the club then it'd be an insult to him to keep him on. (I guess there's a few contributors on here who wont see a problem drawing a wage for nowt). He'll get fixed up coaching somewhere soon. No doubt about that. btw whoever let the press know in advance should be out the door immediately. Abysmal performance by the club.
