  1. Just seen the other thread and some of the apparent twitter posts. I've somehow jumped the gun.... potentially similar to rovers socials.
  2. Surely we wouldn't have released the social videos and put it on the official website if so. I wouldn't expect him to be around today, give him an opportunity to sort moving his things to the UK.
  3. The bit for me in Andy Bayes' statement is Club Decision. I may be reading into it a bit much, but that doesn't read as though it's been a JDT only choice to not talk.
  4. So JDT not being allowed to talk to the media, enforced by the club. It's likely Our manager thinks it's a joke what we've done in the transfer market, I can't think of any other obvious reason why they'd stop him committing to his duties. It is startling that an outsider with no ties to the club apart from a pay packet, thinks we're being duped, and a large portion of fans don't.
  5. So confirmed that's the end of our dealings for the day?
  6. So you're a Venkys employee then? They're the only 'we' that benefit.
  7. Latest rumour, my tongue has decided to depart for pastures new.
  8. For me Caddy, there's no viable reason for it, regardless of what Rovers might say.
  9. By a 'journalist' (quotes as I don't know if he is or just an Orlando fan) who probably had no idea who we were 3 days ago. Yet our local reports from radio and print cry wolf on behalf of Venkys.
  10. I'm biting my tongue until after the deadline. Concerns grow for my tongues overall safety.
  11. Ok Elliott....but you've fallen for the "look at the shiny" trick. The replacements, what about the replacements??
  12. That doesn't make sense. Orlando wouldn't have sanctioned him to get on a plane and come to England if the structure of the deal hadn't been acceptable beforehand. Face it, the owners have waded their way into it again knowing they're too far away to feel the impact.
  13. That kind of thinking would be giving Waggott too much credit.
  14. It's either equal to, or just shy of Phil Jones isn't it?
  15. Me neither sadly, my argument is it should at least be a record fee received before we even start to entertain the idea. I'd want £25m guaranteed personally, but i'd also want him back on loan until the end of the season being greedy.
  16. Sigurdsson showed last night against a League 2 team that he is not and never will be a wing back.
  17. Each to their own but I thought there were 3 or 4 others who had better games and Wharton wasn't even our best CB last night. I'd have given it Tronstad.
  18. Also someone needs to have a chat with Peter Jackson about his eyesight. I've no idea how S Wharton got motm. I feel Tronstad has been done over for the award on a few occasions now.
  19. I thought he was awful all game and wondered why he was still on the pitch when we made the initial 3 subs. Goes to show that sometimes stats and visuals don't match.
  20. I don't know much about Cardiff's back line, but you'd imagine considering our back line problems, he will get plenty of games as JDT also alluded the club needs to address experience at the back .
  21. The weather might play a part in people's decision to get tickets today. Meant to be pretty torrential all day. That being said, I'll still be there.
  22. 50m was tongue in cheek, it was though an agreement with your point that if he goes to a 'big club' then we should be asking for more because as you stated, any potential monies from a sell on are reduced. My preference would be for the latter too. I was hoping his latest contract meant we'd possibly get next season from him as well.
