  1. Sincere condolences to the family and friends of Tashor.. May his soul rest in peace

Didn't he have Jigglypuff as his avatar? I don't know why I remember that.

Anyway, a very unique poster who will doubt be sorely missed on here. My thoughts go out to his family and loved ones.

i think it was Tashors avatar yes.

  2. select a captain in your local league, that is doing really well. surely there is a captain at Glamorgan, or Surrey, Lancashire etc that is on form. make him captain, as he is already captain of his team. not sure if Cook is captain of his county side, but if he is or was never a captain, then its not easy to lead

  3. Hmm would be interesting to get a break down of that Bolton debt amount. if that 160 mill is on transfers, salaries etc, then that is unbelievable. what that doesnt tell you, is that Bolton would still have other expenses to take care of, so that 160 odd million could in fact be alot more

  4. Doesn't Gary sobers get a look in in this debate? He was quite good wasn't he?

tbh, Barry Richards would have been right up there, had it not been for the dark days over here. I would say that Richards would have been close to Bradman and Sobers easily. also Botham like that Aussie with the stupid moustache(sp) cant get to his name now lol, were more out there to entertain the crowd, and the crowd enjoyed that. Kallis on the other hand just got on with what he needed to do, which makes people look at him as boring

  5. As a norwegian, I do not post very often. My english is @#/?, and I often get carried away with emotions.. Which isn't a good thing, as I don't it's in my place to argue with the locals what they should feel or think about their team.

But I've been a registeret member for a long time, and I've been a reader for years. So everytime you sat down by that keyboard, Kelbo, chances are that your opinions reached me.

So I would love to pay for a season ticket to someone who deserves it, in the name of Kelbo (well, his actual name maybe).

It should be done in the name of BRFCS, and maybe be an annual thing. If you know someone who really would benefit this, and you could take care of the practicals (BUYING the season tickey), please PM me or somehing. I'd be happy to pay up as soon as I get my tax refunds in june.

RIP Kelbo - never knew you, always respected you.

:tu: well done killacam, much respect for that. :brfcsmilie:

  6. Just had a look on the Palace boards, some posters think they will give us a right hiding whilst others are not confident at all.

Be great to end this horrible season with a win but have my doubts.

I think first goal is crucial, one for them could open the gates whilst if we snatch one our players seem to be able to hold on quite well.

Cue a big Palace comeback on Saturday now I've said that..

    really?

  7. today we have lost a really good friend, and a genuine fan of the club.some might have known him personally, others like myself only knew him through the board. i thought as a tribute to him, if people on here could copy and paste, some of his best posts which he contributed on here. or just remembering some of his moments. if only for today, if we can show the respect he deserves.

  8. This news has shocked me. being a million miles away, i only came to know kelbo and everybody else on here, and through various other social sites. kelbo was a very good contributor, knew his stuff and was genuinly a good man. he was very critical of the current regime, was always honest in whatever he said. when i logged in, the 1st thing i wanted to check was whatever chaos venkys might have caused again. however, this news has saddened me, and today i will not be caught up in whatever else is going around here. il be honest, the news brought tears to my eyes this morning. kelbo was one of us, so its a sad. to ben and his family, my sincere condolences. KELBO R.I.P
