  1. Community Trusts are usually separate entities and are charities using the the clubs brand.
  2. It's in the RoversPlayer interview, below. Owen Coyle attributes 'Paul Fletcher' as his lawyer in the video at 5:10. A bit of googling reveals that Fletcher works at IPS Law, which is run by Chris Farnell, a company who in has in recent years has represented Jerome Anderson and SEM. I'd imagine though, in the football / sports world, when it comes to agencies, lawyers and consultants etc - it is a small circle and everybody knows and works with each other on occasions, like any other industry.
  3. I found a bit more, this is in a comment left in an article regarding Chris Samba in Lancashire Telegrsph site Chris Farnell, the managing director of IPS law (former Rovers apprentice too), was/is the lawyer for Jerome Anderson - if this article is to be believed. ANDERSON EXPLODES Following his ill -fated and ill-advised TV interview on Sky sports news Tuesday 10th January agent, entrepreneur and advisor to the Venkys Jerome Anderson has taken offence to all the criticism and anger that has comes his way from Blackburn Rovers supporters. Well what did he expect, a pat on the back? For a street wise and experienced football agent Anderson is sometimes quite naïve. So angry was Anderson that he instructed his lawyer Chris Farnell of IPS law to have all articles on Blackburn based LANCASHIRE TELEGRAPH website reporting Andersons tv appearance removed and putting a freeze on further Rovers comments. Charles Sale of the Daily Mail reported that Anderson has taken legal action over the personal abuse directed at him by Blackburn Rovers fans campaigning against Manager Steve Kean. Anderson who represents the beleaguered boss, went on Sky Sports news to defend his client, calling Blackburn Fans who want Kean sacked, not proper supporters. He denied having anything to do with the departure of previous manager Sam Allardyce, the signing of his son Myles as a player on a Premiership contract or influencing club policy. Charles Sale of the Daily Mail in Saturday 14th Jan article, goes onto say that the Lancashire Telegraph facilities were to be opened with a warning that postings cannot include unproven accusations and must keep to house rules. Anderson is considering pursuing those responsible for the most defamatory emails as he Is upset that his family were targeted, concludes Charles Sale in his article. A notice of solicitors action to this website has been received by email form. I cannot comment on other peoples comments left on the Lancashire Telegraph website but so far as I am concerned my article sticks strictly to football matters relating to Blackburn Rovers, no abuse was levelled at Mr Andersons family and nor would I, that would be completely out of order by myself or anybody for that matter. As for my comments they are well documented and have been in the public domain for some considerable time. Is Mr Anderson taking solicitors action against leading sports journalists who have been critical of his handling of affairs at Blackburn Rovers, such as Michael Calvin of the Sunday Mirror and Nick Harris of the Mail on Sunday to name but two, or is he using BULLY BOY tactics against us THICK NORTHERNERS, is does make one wonder. I can however offer an olive branch and a way forward and we can all possibly call a truce. Given that Mr Anderson has the EARS of the Venkys why does he not speak to them on our behalf given that the Venkys (Rao family) are ignoring everyone including the leader of Blackburn and Darwin town council who has written a personal letter asking for a meeting to clarify their intentions regarding the future of Blackburn Rovers. Mr Anderson could express to the Rao family the hurt we are feeling at the demise of our great club. He could express to them the passion supporters hold for their clubs in English football. Football clubs are more than a sporting activity played once a week, peoples lives revolve around them and you cannot cast them aside at a whim, as Venkys appear to be doing without provoking the utmost anger as Mr Anderson has found to his cost. If Jerome Anderson could get this point across to the Venkys and persuade them to back their chosen manager, Steve (the man who cannot win football matches) Kean with some substantial monies during this transfer window. Also to conclude the contractual difficulties that are preventing Michel Salgado and Jason Roberts from being available for selection, we are in relegation battle for heavens sake, these players must be made available, Anderson with his so called expertise could do this. Jason Roberts appeared on national television, BBC2 match of the day, to say all he and Salgado wanted to do was play, the image of Blackburn Rovers penny pinching projected to the nation does not give a good impression of our current owners to say the least. Acting in Blackburn Rovers interest would help Jerome Anderson build some bridges with Blackburn supporters. Let us imagine for one moment that Mr Anderson had gone on TV and criticised the Liverpool fans, who protested long and loud about the Gillette and Higgs ownership of their club has not being proper supporters, or criticised the Man United supporters Green and Yellow movement protesting about the ownership of the Glazer family as not proper supporters, he would not had to worry about comments left on the local newspaper website, that would have been the least of his problems. Let us all move on for the good of Blackburn Rovers. Reg. www.regoftherovers.co.uk
  4. I've not gone through the whole thread, so apologies if it's already been posted, but he mentioned that Paul Fletcher is his lawyer - I did a big of googling and found the website of the firm who represents Coyle for anyone who might be interested. http://ipslaw.co.uk/sports/
