  1. A lot of negativity on here. I’m quite relaxed about the whole thing. 2 good derby results and that should see us hit form and confidence at the right time for the play offs.

If we don’t get at least 4 points from the two games then we don’t deserve the play offs (I didn’t expect play offs this season anyway) and we go one step further next season.

I’m fully behind JDT. The people that aren’t…I’m not really sure what you expect 🙈

Honestly if I was Wharton I'd be looking to make a move in January.  Jdt treatment of him is disgusting.  Best talent we've produced for decades and he's frozen him out. Lucky he's a Rovers supporter otherwise he'd be off

Give it a rest ffs. He’s 18 years old. Don’t believe everything you hear about ‘his treatment’.

149 for a six game International ticket is a bit pricey. Assuming cost of a single adult ticket must be significantly more than 25 per game! Also only 3 cat A games allowed. Hannoverover will soon become Washingtonrover so it's not an option for me anyway.

    Is anyone else tempted?

I'm gonna get it. The price is fair and 6 matches is about right for the season. It also guarantees a Burnley ticket.

My only worry is it doesn't say anything about where the tickets are going to be. Obviously it will be a different seat for each game but I hope they don't just stick us on row 1 of the riverside or something.

Given QPR is a lunchtime game on Sky that could be cheaper. The others won't be £30 games with the possible exception of Derby. I suspect that half season tickets will go off sale now (although I assume that they won't stop you if you want to buy one!). In any case if you can only do four games a half season ticket won't be worth it. Maybe if we're still going well you might come to some of the others?

I also would not rule out another package offer over some of the remaining home games.

Given the Millwall game isn't for over three weeks I would be inclined to wait to see if any other offers come up. It's not as if we're going to run out. The Blackburn End is getting pretty busy now but there will always be an odd ticket free.

    Thanks for that 👍

I’ll definitely be going another game whether we drop off or not. It’s just midweek that’s an issue. I just bought 3 Prague to Manchester return flights for these 4 games at £30 return each. Flights for the Blackpool game currently about £70 so will wait for the next Ryanair flight sale 😃

I forgot about the package deals so you’re right I’ll give it another couple of weeks.

Im thinking about play off tickets though and also Birmingham away (imagine if we can get automatic at St. Andrews on the last day) so a season ticket would help there. I haven’t had one since 08-09.

  5. I haven't managed to get over for a game this season due to restrictions but i've just booked flights for Millwall, QPR, Bristol City and Derby games all at ewood and I'm trying to decide whether to get a half season ticket or not.

I can't get to midweek games because of work so I'm sure buying tickets will be cheaper but obviously i'll have some benefit from ST like possible away game tickets.

How much are single game tickets in the Blackburn end this season? I can only find midweek £20 price online.

    Cheers all

Rovers are now saying its pay on the day again, with no database purchase history.

Maybe the nobbers sales aren't going as well as they thought?

I'm sure their sales are going fine. Home fans on the other hand....

This is probably Waggot trying to cash in by letting them sit in the home end. Class A moron he is.

Think I might have posted this in the wrong thread.

Im travelling over for this game. Am I likely to have 1000s of knobenders on my train from Manchester?

Coming over as well and was quoted 50 quid one way from Blackpool North for 3 of us so they must be selling plenty of seats on that route. Taxi quoted me £46 so opted for that to avoid them :D

Always a good atmosphere on a match day.

Though I personally think its latest renovation has made it too generic a sports bar with a load of the Rovers memorabilia/photos that once adorned the walls etc stripped out.

    Good to know. Thanks.

That is very unfair to suggest genuine life-long supporters on here are fickle.  There are very few fickle folk on here to be honest.

If you've arrived at the party late, you may have missed that the strongest suggestions and criticisms on here have consistently been:

Play players in their proper positions.

    Stick with a settled side.

    Buy some defenders.

    Drop Bennett for Nyambe.

Play to our strengths, not the strengths of the opposition.

Introduce more pace and movement by playing Rothwell.

Stop playing Gallagher as a winger.

    BUY SOME DEFENDERS

Move the ball quicker instead of this lethargic approach play.

    Press higher up the pitch.

Replace Bell and buy some effing defenders!!!

Now, when Mowbray finally did most of that and he picked the same team for four games, we won four on the bounce - and it wasn't ever rocket science. Yet, myself and the other tiresome members of the brigade didn't get over-excited and knew it wouldn't be long until Bennett was back in situ and way out of his depth, that numerous unnecessary changes would be made in order to give lads a game, that we'd concede ground on the pitch, start inviting crosses into the box again and stop pressing in the other half.  We knew that we would quickly revert to type and a winless run.  We knew this because we recognise what a poor manager he is on the most basic of levels and we listen to Mowbray's contradictory soundbites.

So unfortunately, I can't take your advice to just put up with the dross and shut up because clapping along merrily won't help the long-term future of this club.  Supporting a team doesn't mean sitting back, smiling and accepting failure.  I would much rather get rid of this useless chap now and give the new man the opportunity to chance his arm for the playoffs or at the least, give him a fantastic opportunity to have a kind of  pro-longed pre season 20-21 and see what is worth keeping or shipping out (like we did with Souness).

The Mowbray out brigade I refer to is on Twitter rather than on here. That's probably my mistake. I've uninstalled it now!

I understand why people are against him I just don't see the point in making a change now. Who could we even get? Last time we did this mid-season we ended up with Coyle.

Just see where we are at the end of the season then if he goes (and if there isn't progress it might be a mutual decision) the new guy can have a pre-season.

  10. The Mowbray out brigade are really starting to bore me to death. So fickle. It changes weekly.

Here's an idea....how about we just get behind the manager and the team. Support them properly and see where we are at the end of the season. Decisions can then be made on the best way to take the club forward.
