  1. I'm an old git probably one of the oldest on this forum if not the oldest and I don't post much but I read on this board every day, some times several times a day. I grew up in Darwen saw my first game when I was 12 and have followed Rovers for over 70 years since, and I have never in all that time felt as I do now. This club is being dragged down to a disgusting level by terrible so called owners and a totally inept and incompetent managerial personnel, in fact the incompetence is bordering on unbelievable and making Rovers a laughing stock. I was gutted at the way JDT was forced to leave and I do mean forced. The decision makers at Ewood made his job unbearably difficult with their shambolic transfer manipulations which left him with a depleted squad ravaged by injuries. In this situation it started to become evident on the pitch and JDT started to get the blame with the usual "why didn't he do this or change things etc" The simple answer is the personnel he was left with were just not capable for all the above reasons. In the end JDT must have thought he was banging his head on a brick wall asking for new transfers then watching the so called management gyrations in the market, this must have made his job unbearable and that's why I say he was forced out. As many have correctly said the owners and the management are fully to blame for the miserable state of affairs that exist now at Rovers.
  2. Just a heads up re cancellation. I cancelled my subscription (monthly same as yours) a while ago by advising in plenty of time by email as per the sites instructions. I Received no reply which I thought strange so a week later sent a follow up email and stressed that I needed confirmation that the cancellation would be done. I received no reply and a week or so later they withdrew another subscription from my bank account. I the rang Rovers (from Australia) and got a really helpful receptionist who passed all the information to the right person who then confirmed it would be cancelled and refunded which it was a few days later. All in all a lot of messing about for a simple cancellation. Good luck.

  4. So I have scanned all the sports channels and can't find where it was shown. Is there anyone who knows which TV channel showed the game in Australia ?.
  5. I'm the same just bought a monthly video pass and all I get is a message saying unauthorised country...Australia. I'm pissed off big time.
  6. I was going to say the same thing until I saw your post, I certainly never saw him celebrate any rovers wins like that and the uppercut gesture he made was almost like saying take that you bastards,
  7. Quite frankly I'm disappointed and frustrated with the tactics being employed as all they are doing is making it easier for the opposition teams. Messing about in your own penalty is fraught with danger and brings the opposition into close range hungering for the ball and Ayala ( granted he's a good defender) virtually stands still at times inviting trouble. The games are won with goals and the only penalty area we should be in is the oppositions, also even 1 down with less than a minute to go we were still passing it slowly in our own area. As others have said where is the high pressing game JDT talked about after his arrival.
  8. Yeah, But I'm talking about the International subscription plan that I'm hoping difers from the old I follow plan where they did'nt show the replay until midday the day after the game, which was 9pm to 11pm Sunday night here. The alternative was to watch it live at 2am in the morning.
  9. I can't get sense out of Rovers main site but can anyone tell me if Rovers TV does replays and how long after the game before the replay is available, especially in Australia.
  10. Well I for one will be pleased to see JDT brought in ( if that is indeed the case) and I dont quite buy the "lack of experience" worry as even so called proven managers can fail. The thing I really like is that he was a striker so he should obviously have a attacking mentality which should make for some exciting and productive football. Mowbray was a defender and quite obviously (IMO) he had a defensive mentality which was apparent in many games, team selection and formations etc. For the first time in a very long time I'm looking forward to the seasons kick off and feel something thats been supressed,,,hope.
  11. I've been using Ifollow since it's inception but I could'nt be bothered watching the last few games out of sheer frustration with Mowbray. I'd already made up my mind to cancel my subscription to ifollow for next season and no matter what the club comes up with if Mowbray is still here they can shove it. I started watching Rovers in the early 1950's and the miserable combination of Mowbray and his cronies plus the unmentionable stupid owners have have crushed my enthusiasm. I must admit though if Mowbray was to go that would change everything.
  12. Although I was gutted by the penalty decision surely it had to be red as he was already on a yellow.
  13. I actually like the idea of Brereton and Gallagher up front with Dolan right wing and Elliot left wing as it would help put to bed a few queries such as whether Dolan and Elliot are really effective wingers, but more importantly how the other two would perform as a pair of strikers. After all everybody has seen how ineffective Gallagher has been on the wing so it just might work although I tend to agree with your last comment.
  14. Totally deflated after that game, Nyambi should have played RB and should be first choice every game imo his speed was badly missed. As someone asked earlier what is JRC's natural position as it seems to me that he'd be better on the wing at least for part of the game. Last night like most games he frustrated me by passing backwards 9 times out of 10 but when he did get forward he crosses well. We needed Travis on the park last night driving forward and I can't wait for him to come back. I like Holtby and he put in a solid performance which nearly brought him a goal, but the team as a whole appeared all at sea and at times jittery and uncertain. Credit to Reading though they appeared well drilled in a game plan and they executed it precisely. I would love to say it was just a bad night and TM will sort it by Saturday but I just can't, I can only hope that somehow he manages to sort it.
  15. exactly, I've been trying al half to get someone on "chat" without success, shambes!
