  1. They obviously won’t say as much, but any chance he’s our sacrificial lamb that we’ve been waiting for?
  2. Fair play to Andy - he does press Gregg on a number of items. True to form though I feel like Gregg dodges pretty much all of them. Nothing against the bloke but he clearly has zero influence. There’s only one bloke who it would be worth hearing from at Ewood under a grilling (not Wagott) and it won’t ever happen.
  3. Still makes me a little upset thinking what might have been for Matt - I can only imagine how he has felt over the years. The sky really was the limit as he was just continuously getting better with the first yard played upstairs.
  4. I knew that Broughton interview wouldn’t happen. Just more bollocks from the club at the time to appease the happy clappers.
  5. He’s hardly ripping up trees but IF it was Gally they were looking to offload on loan behind JDTs back, then coupled with the McGuire ‘balls up’, then surely the owners, Waggott and Sohail were intent - or at least comfortable - with the prospect of seeing this club get relegated this season.
  6. Proof if needed that being recognised at international level is really a load of bollocks. The difference in ability between Morton and Wharton really is night and day yet the former gets a regular spot at that level purely because of his parent club.
  7. Nothing frustrates me more than pillocks like that bloke - spouting utter BS to a semi-decent Rovers following. People like that are a big part of the problem.
  8. Phew. I was worried for a minute about the future of our club.
  9. At the very best a 1-1 but head says 3 or 4-1 to Boro. As a poster above implies, I’m not sure how much the players actually want it (as for the wider club…).
  10. Boro (a), Ipswich (h), Sunderland (a), Southampton (h), Bristol City (a), Leeds (a). We are doomed. At BEST, 1 point from either Ipswich or Bristol City.
  11. Two wins in 19 makes some of the death spirals under Mowbray seem small fry. Surely we haven’t had as bad a run as that for many, many years. Even in the PL under the rat the stats couldn’t have been quite that dreadful.
  12. It’s laughably bad. As in, if you don’t laugh you’ll cry. No wins for Eustace in 7(?) now I think too. The form book has us as dead certs to go down, despite what the bookies say.
  13. I think I’m very close to saying that I’ve seen enough of this bloke. If he thinks 2 points was enough from the past 2 fixtures then he’s in for a extreme reality check over the next few weeks.
  14. A team near the bottom of the table going for it. Eustace wouldn’t like that.
  15. That’s the thing. We quite literally are getting nothing for weeks and weeks after today. Today it was absolutely crucial that we got 3 points. I know the championship doesn’t work like that, but I do know how this spineless bunch work, and they won’t upset the odds when the chips are down.
  16. Oh fuck off eustace. Mammoth fuck off to Venky’s too of course. Relegation firmly impending.
  17. Why was Fadz still on, we should have moved to 4 at the back far earlier.
  18. Has to be this. We’re past the pride excuse. They’re clearly worried that Neville’s house is the tip of the iceberg in the UK.
  19. The club must be wrestled from them because it sounds as though they sure as hell won't sell up.
  20. Phil we must win. We’re not winning any of our matches til at least Sheff Weds at home after Saturday and by then we could well be cut a little adrift.
  21. Hard to argue. This is what happens from years of downgrading and filling your side out with players who won’t be here beyond the season (and I’d include the likes of Gallagher in that whose performance last night was dreadful).
  22. This is the massive concern. If it hadn’t been for that gift from their defender then we could have played til Christmas and not scored. Newcastle aside, Eustace just cannot get us looking threatening in front of goal at all. He simply must let the shackles off on Saturday because make no mistake, a draw will not be good enough.
  23. I don’t think any club could or would take the risk. He can’t string together more than 3-4 games in a row without breaking down. How we’re crying out for him in this run in. He’s the only other one apart from Fadz and Sammie with a set of bollocks.
  24. I’ve stopped listening to his guff already. It’s nauseating and so far removed from what actually happens on the pitch.
  25. If we’re drawing against Plymouth on Saturday with the clock ticking and he doesn’t go for it then he can do one for me - this overly conservative approach is going to finish the job off.
