  1. Might as well not bother and just scout for disguarded 18 year olds.
  2. Unless the happy clappers are really bots and Burnley fans, I think the awful situation we're in is what they deserve. Imagine a boot stamping on a smiling face forever.
  3. All we can say for sure is that Waggott has a track record of being crap and the clubs he had been at have all failed with him there.
  4. Entertaining game, but England were so exposed in defence. Lacking in that final killer move too. Chilwell was particularly bad. He kept slowing down counter attacks and Raphiniha had him on toast.
  5. I agree that internationals are different to league football, and he was gash at Boro but he's done a hell of a lot better than many of us expected. I was one of the biggest critics of his appointment. Don't forget we used to struggle against the likes of North Macedonia and lose to Iceland with the 'golden generation'. Man Utd and their ambitions to be back at the top are probably beyond him and a team like Brighton or Villa are his level.
  6. Southgate hasn't been bad as England manager but is way to loyal to certain players and is too cautious. Everyone raves on about Terry Venables but he never reached a final (partially because of Southgate). However he is not the man to make Man Utd what they were under Ferguson.
  7. Expecting the authorities here to investigate is a dream. Bury were taken over by a man with 22 insolvent companies behind him.
  8. This season has been more Frayed ends of sanity. And unlike most, I appreciate the Load album as they earned the right to not go down the Oasis route, and experiment. Anyway to get back to football, I am expecting us to be looking over our shoulders until the last 2 games.
  9. There has to be some funny business going on, as who'd want to run a very public part of their portfolio so badly? Rich people love saving money with tax avoidance and suchlike not throw £20m+ down the toilet and run something to the ground.
  10. Better than a loss I suppose. Sounds like we performed better too.
  11. It shows what a good manager and decent owners can do. From League 2, and not knowing where the home games will be to appearances at Wembley and possible promotion. One day it might be us, though right now it feels like we will just end up at the crap owners and League 2 stage.
  12. It's hard to be optimistic about this club. I'm expecting a steady decline to the fourth tier and a whole generation of fans believing that the sort of season Port Vale or Northampton Town usually has is 'our level', whilst going to the nearest JJB Sports shop to buy a Real Madrid or Liverpool shirt.
  13. Even Jesus Christ himself cannot save this team from failure. Everything is set up to do so from the boardroom to the cleaners. Eustace may be a bit rubbish, but we could do even worse. Re-sign Coyle, get Rooney or some out of work has been like Strachan for example.
  14. Even Pep or Klopp would not succeed with the club. The wheels have truly come off and it'll be luck that might save us this season.
  15. This club is dead. It is finished. There is no chance of anything positive happening unless the Raos sell the club, and since that's never going to happen...... All the players with the exception of Sammy are bottle jobs.
  16. We're off to League 1 if we play like this. When will those bums sell the club and do one?
  17. At least Shearer will go to bed knowing the only thing he has ever won was with us.
  18. Another well done for the tennis balls. Got Warnock and Murphy mentioning the owners. Hopefully more will join in next time.
  19. All I'm interested in is if there are any Venkys Out banners and so on. We'll lose this one thanks to our weak squad.
  20. Couldn't stand him as a DJ, but I get the feeling he was a good guy, and welcomed the newer, younger DJs.
  21. 1 game and it's already Eustace out. Wow. I've not looked, but I bet there have been a few of our best managers that have lost their first game. Perhaps we should have rotating managers like the hosts of Have I Got News For You, or hold a raffle for fans to have a go at the next game. How the hell can someone come into this club and then magically stop it being some sort of insane crap show within a week when the clowns are still in place? And how do you expect a head coach to rid us of those clowns? Buy the club? Launch a tactical nuke to Pune?
