King Charles is a very modern thinking royal. I think after the last few years, COVID, the putin war etc and the financial hits across the nation, that he will insist on business as usual, I suspect there may be a bank holiday involved for the coronation.

Best we’ve seen Dolan for some time. If he plays like that every week he’s one of first on team sheet. We didn’t deserve to lose by one though, that score line flatters us.

We are definitely a better side with Buckley in the side. We break with the ball faster, he’s a quicker football brain than most of the team.

JDT made his philosophy very clear, high tempo, fast paced and constantly pressing and closing down the opposition, we are doing absolutely none of those things, very poor.

Did a good job in league one, albeit with by far the biggest budget. In the championship though, yes he stabilised us, which was completely fine, but then he completely failed after that, consistently allowing the team to fall apart second half of the season, did the same at boro and Coventry. 
 

his negativity at times was so demoralising too, don’t miss him, but don’t dislike him, hope he does okay. However his team selections, and seemingly unwillingness to spend money despite venkys making it available was baffling and I certainly won’t forget his dig at the fans for calling him and his team out.

Paul Downing we paid a minimal fee for, a few hundred K. Before that Williams but he was a LB, and before that I think it was probably Scott Dann.

Very true, although, if they’d have played us over the last 5 years under Mowbray in a cup game, they’d have probably been taking the piss out of us.

Is anyone really surprised? I’m not going into the Mowbray death spiral crap as it’s boring, but we all knew this would happen, Mowbray isn’t good enough, the ownership isn’t good enough, the players are weak as piss. Boring.

I was just told on Saturday by a chap who’s very involved with the academy side of things at the club, doesn’t work at the club, but attends every game and knows people who are involved in the set up and he’s been told it’s being downgraded to cat2, as cat2 means the club don’t have to spend the same level of money but can still play similar level opposition.

Academy is being downgraded to cat2, thoughts people?

It may have been discussed, however how do people think about the academy being downgraded to Cat2? I thought that was venkys baby and they would always fund it? And to be fair the academy has been one of their very few successes
