  1. Fine them, drop them, bench them but most of all give them a right f**king rollocking at half time. Fergie did it and I dare say other managers do it. Did you see the Alan Shearer interview, he wanted to fine the players upto 50% which tbf is alot and he couldn't implement it due to the FA cry babies but the idea of it should be implemented. https://youtu.be/UozlUpQQJpc
  2. If the majority of players are TM picks when they signed and not thrusted upon him then Id say its 90% Manager. I know the old saying " but once they cross that white line...." but TM should be putting the fear of god up them. When I played most of the time we played with fear ( and respect) from the manager.
  3. definatly, I think 5 more games we would be well clear. TM did well to give us a bit of hope, under Coil we would have been down about the same time as Rotherham.
  4. I wasnt saying about the governing body on if they can punish or not I was implying we are talking about ethics of the manager, its all the same no matter if its EFL or FA. the opposition are embroiled in a relegation dogfight They are there because of a 40+ plus season that they cant win enough games to survive, Huddersfield IMHO rested their players to finish off the season in the play offs playing the extra games that other teams due to not being able to win enough games have missed out on. How that reflects on the peasants below isnt on the mind of the Hudderfield manager.
  5. Maybe so but in BOTH cases viable. Im not saying Hudd's did/didnot purposely exploit the 'rules' tbh this rule is BS, as long as you play your legal squad then every team has the choice of who to play and not play. What if it was England fielding a 2nd 'string' to to finish 2nd in the group to play the winners of Group A who for Eg was Austrailia instead of Spain.

  7. if it was brentford this sunday would you complain. fact of the matter is teams have been doing it for years whilst some teams didnt break any rules per say other teams get punished for this big grey area of a rule. and again my argument is how do you determin which player is stronger or weaker than another. Whats next a club getting fined for playing 541...
  8. I dont, he knew 1000% what he was walking into he was given a huge uphill battle to overcome. Save us he's a legend relegated and its not his fault. TM win win situation. If this time in 6 months he's given no money and told to sell everyone then yeah Id say he'd hard done by but fair play for TM to pick up the challenge.
  9. all under the FA rules the PL made the precedent in 2011
  10. I dont see any problem with what Huddersfield did. If I had 25 players for the senior squad I should be able to pick who the hell I want for a match, as mentioned whos to say 1 player is better than another? and this is where the rule could be abused but if for eg TM should be able to pick from ANY of the following 1Jason Steele (G) 33David Raya Martin (G) 37Andrew Fisher (G) 2Adam Henley (D) 3Gordon Greer (D) 4Tommy Hoban (D) 5Derrick Williams (D) 14Charlie Mulgrew (D) 15Elliott Ward (D) 20Stephen Hendrie (D) 24Ryan Nyambe (D) 30Wes Brown (D) 36Jack Doyle (D) 42Lewis Travis (D) 6Jason Lowe (M) 7Liam Feeney (M) 18Lucas Joao (M) 21Hope Akpan (M) 23Danny Guthrie (M) 26Darragh Lenihan (M) 27Willem Tomlinson (M) 28Connor Mahoney (M) 29Corry Evans (M) 31Elliott Bennett (M) 32Craig Conway (M) 9Anthony Stokes (F) 12Danny Graham (F) 17Marvin Emnes (F) 19Sam Gallagher (F) if Huddersfield started with the under 18's then fair enough. Huddersfield Town have 26 men registered in their first team squad, with every player other than Luke Coddington and Regan Booty making an appearance this season.
  11. Elton John's chin has hits more balls than Anthony stokes's right boot.
  12. If Birmingham win then even if we beat Villa we need to win by 5 to go above Forest ...( before forest kick a ball) if they get beat by QPR 1-0 we need 4
  13. "If he can't motivate the players for a limited period during a series of must win games at the end of a relegation dog fight" The manager shouldnt need to motivate the players at all, they should be doing that themselves but here lies the problem the players dont give a @#/?. Either it being due to loanees or what ever but the last thing the manager should be doing is motivate under our predicament, installing belief maybe upping the fitness and training yeah dam right. Sure you need a manager to motivate a team that get battered week in week out and nothing to play for but in our crisis they are professional players being paid professional wages.
  14. Under Coil we would have been dead and buried weeks ago, at least TM gave us a bit of hope and a decent run (Played 13 Won 3 Draw 7 Lost 3) whilst he is part to blame I blame the players. Cross that white line and they roll over. Gutless Spineless Clueless like i said last week Id not pay them in washers....
  15. I stopped religiously watching the PL and football in general a few years back for that very reason. Now and again Ill watch the Champs League as it draws to the quarters etc.. I worked for a highstreet bookmaker for 5 yrs and we would do previews and the posters etc for the upcoming big games Chelsea v Man Utd or Arsenal v Spurs etc and created this whole buildup and then come to watch the game and its like pulling teeth-watching paintdry. As a biker we have a joke about Footballers only requiring 1 ball. These primadonnas over paid big girls boluses cracking under prssure of a game or being fould like they been shot...try going round TT course at 200,ph+ next to brick walls..thats pressure.
  16. Harry might go in and basically say " look lads 2 wins in 20+ games, past is past just go out and express your selfs. Enjoy the last 3 games and then the summer hols. I would. Id wipe the slate clean regardless of their record take the pressure off. Anything they get would be a bonus, he must see they have the quality ( 7th when Rowlett got sacked?) so no pressure.....
  17. I still think 49 will secure it, 'arry at Birmingham is desperado time will it be enough can he get 2 points? or a win? but looking at the last 10 games at teams at the bottom we have collected more points than 3 other teams even if Birmingham survive I'd be more worried if I was a Forest fan. I dont believe that any team has a harder run in than another team, 15 bristol city 13 burton 07 brum 09 forest 11 rovers 10 wigan
  18. My lad is 18 now and ID take him to games and even tho he's never been a football mad boy he loved the days out, meeting players , my eldest girl was mascot once and id enjoy meals in the club bar surrounded by all the murals from yesteryear. Ironically Im redecorating my lads old room this weekend which was Rovers Blue white border and flags of BRFC with framed photos of players and tickets from worthington cup and full members cup. My point of this ramble is if he came to me now as a 8yr old boy and said he wanted to follow a team I couldn't recommend Rovers under this fiasco. My Rovers died years ago.
  19. Out of all the games all the losses all the behind the scenes all the snide dealings the biggest thing i miss from match days is the enjoyment of walking from the concourse up the steps and seeing the whole ground and pitch in view and having butterflies thats what i miss..
  20. its like we have gone back to 1980 thats how much destruction Venkys have done in the 7yrs , put us back nearly 40yrs.....
  21. not posted for a while due to ill health etc but of all this car crash this is my impression.Senior was brought in to squeeze whats left out of the club value wise and maybe brought in to adjust the expenditure depending on our situation. He's the one trying to find the hidden gem for almost nothing. He failed miserably when he came in going after a player who couldn't get a work permit but he's the slime ball saying all the right things to his boss ( who ever that is) TM. Brought in for LGE 1 but with 1 eye on if he achieves the miracle of keeping us up. He was unfairly criticized even before a ball was kicked and I think most fans would have him over Coil anyday and given more time and a transfer window would have done better. I agree the manager has got the prepare the team be the motivational speaker, give a bollocking or put an arm round players but soon as they cross the white line its down to the players The players are gutless spineless and Id not pay them in washers but again you cant build a squad full of loanees and rejects but the way they imploded saturday was a disgrace, TM should have read them all the riot act at half time but tbf most of the players dont give a @#/?. I was one of the protesters from the Kean era and like many that fateful day -v- Wigan seen relegation coming a mile off with owners failing to act in time. A light at the end of the tunnel was the conception that relegation might mean the owners sold up etc but how wrong we was. I'd accept it now if it meant the same but again Im not holding my breath.
  22. Not at all as he would have had those games under his belt but tbf for many people on here to call him, chastise him even before he had a game is just uncalled for. If he never won another game Id be the first to say it was a bad appointment but only judge his tenure here from games played, half of you lot here wouldnt have given the time of day. What if he saves us from relegation to LG1 how many fans that called him would say 'actually he done a good job' with ANY manager coming in give the bloke a chance. Even HWSNBN was given a honeymoon period.
