  1. We could replace JDT with Duncan McGuire until the end of the season, then we’ll assess the situation and have a striker who knows the club inside out ready for next season.
  2. That means it will be in a fortnight when they realise he’s not happy and wants to leave.
  3. How about a protest after a game, maybe fans could meet where waggot and the others leave their cars. They’ll certainly hear what is thought of them then.
  4. I was going to renew this morning after being undecided after missing too many games with sky last season, and feeling a little drained with how the season finished. Don’t understand why season tickets need to be taken down for the best part of a week while they remove them from the system. If I’d gone down Ewood with a bag of spanner’s I could have physically removed them from the stadium in less time. Anyone called the ticket office to ask wtf is going on ?
  5. Did he forget to take the price tag off his sneakers.
  6. Would assume with players reporting for training this morning that things would be confirmed one way or another. I am sure journalists will be outside training grounds getting info. Hoping that it’s just a backlog at the e.f.l end.
  7. Can’t see why we would bother bringing in the new set up if we don’t have a plan to move forward and get better at identifying and signing players. Maybe Broughton has been fed a pack of lies( there is money available blah blah but we never said we’d give it you. Maybe we are playing a risky game of not signing x amount of players 4 or 5 weeks ago thus saving Wages then going all out last few days of the window. The feel good factor seems to be diminishing somewhat. If we don’t back JDT with what he was promised I very much doubt he will stick around and we will plummet to new depths regarding future ticket sales. Let’s hope we are pleasantly surprised at the end of the window.
  8. I'm not sure who started that one, made me chuckle. Think Wenger hated coming to Ewood for some reason, didn't like Andy Todd much either 🤕
  9. Ended Forest's long unbeaten run if I remember rightly, and an absolute rocket from Le saux. He certainly wears his heart on his sleeve. Sounds like a top bloke, I certainly wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of him though.
  10. You beat me to it, says he wants to pursue other opportunities, not sure he would want to move up north though.
  11. Let's just hope a plan is already in place, looks like Watford got the ball rolling by poaching the FGR manager from under their noses, they are quite good at hiring and firing though. Hopefully by the end of the month at the latest.
  12. Maybe they are staying on for now, doesn't mean a new manager coming in can't bring his own staff and replace them. If all the coaches leave when Mowbray does there will be nobody left to keep things ticking over.
  13. I agree, it could be good to see an up and coming manager with fresh ideas and decent contacts given the job. However in the unlikely event of us appointing somebody to get us all excited I very much doubt they will think outside the box, it will be an old head who's been around the block.
  14. Who told you good things are on the horizon? I haven't seen or heard anything to get me excited. By Tony's interview some of the players are worried about the future so it's likely they haven't heard anything positive either.
  15. I agree on that, poor wording on my part, I wasn't expecting a direct response from India, but definitely from Mr Waggot who should be Venkies mouthpiece. Its another reason why fans are fed up, lack of communication and not knowing which direction the club is going.
  16. I think it's a shit show having no statement from the club, but listening to Simon Jordan on talk sport on Friday he said he would not have come out and spoke to the manager regarding a new contract whilst in our position and said it would be upto the manager to contact the owners if he was wanting clarification on a new contract. Seems like he's been sacked but not until his contract has finished hence not having to pay severance pay. Hear it lots now, some manager is potted and a new manager is named before the desk is cleared, which is similar to Tony in that he hasn't a clue what the owners want and is in the dark whilst plans have been made for the future without him knowing. Doubt that will be the case with us I'm afraid, we will advertise for a replacement half way through pre season. As many have often said though regarding Waggot and Mowbray being close I find it very odd that they haven't spoke about future plans. Maybe they are both mushrooms being kept in the dark. Hopefully the local media can find Waggot and ask the question of does the club have a plan and timescale for a replacement? I'm not actually sure what Waggot does day to day, no one ever seems to see or hear from him, he's certainly not out and about engaging with fans like John Williams seemed to do. Odds on we get a 1 paragraph written statement saying "thanks Tony we wish you all the best and good luck we will provide a further statement in due course".
  17. Just move the gk to the edge of the d and your spot on. 😁
  18. Venkies probably not even aware of last night's scoreline, or the fact it's the highest defeat at home Ever. May find out the scores at the months end at a board meeting or something. Probably drawing up a new contract for bulletproof Tony as we speak.
  19. Would much prefer to buy 4 young kids @ £1.5m each than spaff it all on 1 player. Surely that should be the model, hope 1 of the crop develops to sell on again. 🤔
  20. He never thinks out the box unfortunately, look at what Motherwell have offered to fans on low incomes for an idea on what we could offer. Prices for Wba are shocking, not many walk ons, I hate seeing fans shafted just because they bring a large following. Should be no categories it's the championship ffs. Also putting away fans in top tier is shite, prefer a better atmosphere tbh. Trying to sell the training ground is shocking/ unforgivable. The ground is looking tired in places, could offer jobs to local companies to spruce the place up a little, a lick of paint and a jet wash for starters. I have no confidence if he went we would replace him with anyone with any nous. Sadly think people realise the owners can be taken advantage of and can line their own pockets if they get in a position of power at Ewood.
  21. Not counted the dots but it's going to be quiet on the terraces, hope they don't put away fans in the top tier or there will be no atmosphere at all.☹️
  22. 1. Yes 2. No ( gone after 12 games 3. Harry Pickering 4.Bottom 5 6. Fulham
  23. Tony doesn't believe in systems or formations hence why we don't need to bed them in. He will probably have any new recruits on the bench for a few weeks before giving them debuts in a totally alien positions.
  24. I agree in part with what you say regarding success and attendances, but for a supporter to totally walk away from their own club due to these imposters seems wrong in my eyes. Fair enough don't give em your hard earned dosh but there's nothing wrong with attending a few away games, supporting the lads and protesting in other ways. The sad part is new supporters could be lost forever if they get out of the habit of spending Saturday afternoons away from Ewood, which could take decades for the club to recover from.
