When funds are low and you are in a relegation battle surely you are better of spending those little funds that you have on someone who can help you in that relegation battle.

VAR is trying to suck all of the joy and emotion out of football and turn it into an exact science by checking if someone has a toe or an armpit offside. And I'm not even convinced he was offside, the angles they use and the way that they draw the lines on never fully convinces me. The line was drawn across Wan Bissaka's boot and not on the very edge of it. I suspect had that goal been scored at the other they would have altered the lines slightly to make it onside. VAR has to go for the sake of the game.
