  1. One of those games where all that effort did not come undone and lose points. Scoring a late winner which is very rare for us as of late to take all 3 points is refreshing. Avoid defeat against wednesday and that should be enough
  2. JE is a good one on one manager which this squad needed. Manager and assistant barking orders all game. Nice to see the set piece coach been working hard, Brilliant few examples yesterday to create the space. Stabalise championship status now and we will see a different team come August
  3. Credit where it's due we were set up really well today. Looked like a solid championship outfit, set pieces were switched up and we created chances. Best championship game under Eustace
  4. Where to start. Defence got split multiple times with simple ball down the middle, centre halfs didn't decide once between them and neither anticipated. Struggled to win second balls in all areas of the pitch, Need 2 centre mids trying to mop up the mess, Specially when playing hoof ball. He's tried changing systems and I still can't see what Eustace is trying to achieve. It's like basic Non league tactics
  5. Thought I would let the dust settle before posting. Manager didn't change much from the game against Newcastle. Can't blame him after that showing. It didn't pay off and Swansea clinical taking there chances. One positive I can take from that game was Eustace. Noticed the weakness and changed things up, changed shape,in game management we are not used to but He tried.
  6. Every single player on that pitch tonight stepped up and grabbed that game by the scruff of the neck. Eustace got them on fire tonight, very proud Rover watching that performance tonight
  7. Showed great fight to get back on level terms after going one down. Not the best football on the eye but we are frustrating teams. Best of all it's nice to see an actual corner get played in, All 3 centre halfs plus Gally can head the ball and cause teams serious problems. Gally has had a run of games through the middle and is starting too look like a decent 9, 2 headers saved by opposition goalie. He looks hungry
  8. What would be nice if there was an international break which suits us for a change. Gaffer can have a good 2 weeks with the squad
  9. He's just left us completely screwed. Will be hard for the team to find the right balance between JDT ball and what Eustace wants. He's only had 2 sessions with the team so far so I doubt he's done much bar stop us overloading our attacks and be more compact. We are used to creating more chances, But I have not seen us left in a 2v1 or defence left in firing line so far. There has been small signs of improvement
  10. Gally the deeper of the 2 for large parts of the game and looked a decent pairing. Our squad is really hard to find a balance in my opinion. I like 3 in the middle as our better performances have come when doing so. But as of late 3 centre half looks the way forward as we have more depth there than in midfield
  11. After going two nil up and going in at half time at 2-2 I feared the worst. Preston definitely had the momentum and we showed grit and determination to see the point out. Looked tough to play against second half despite Preston having the midfield to themselves. That's where we lost the battle was in the midfield. Too many big holes there and it is worrying.
  12. I follow have shown a few banners around that first half to be fair
  13. JDT uses the U21s to get them up to speed. Hedges hasn't featured. Read the pre match comments.Brittain back early. Everyone surprised Hedges and Brittain were involved.JDT expected too much in terms of how fit the players should be Each to there own opinion I guess
  14. Of course it makes sense. If they were not fit enough to press and play to the tempo JDT wanted he wouldn't of picked them. Adapting to a different style which JDT wouldn't do has enabled them to come in. JDT favourite saying was be patient and let them get up to speed
  15. No way would Brittain a hedges start today's game. Reason being they wasn't JDT ready. A plan B can fit these players in if they are ready. So far being good, Not overloading the attack and better game management picking the right times to go forward
  16. Looking forward to see what he brings to the table. Hopefully the end of inverted wing backs, Overloading the attack, and most of all zonal marking
  17. Woeful, Moran leaving the midfield completely open and not tracking back. Siggy not been in the game and was very quiet against Wrexham as well. Got to be much better second half to get anything from this
  18. I can see where my mistake is in the wording And have put it across the wrong way. It was more to the point of the transfer window is now closed. Nothing else can be done for now. Let's get the results on the pitch to keep our championship status. Off the pitch is a different story. We all know where the issues are. But could become worse if results carry on the same way
  19. I can't argue with that statement. We all want the same end goal.
  20. I'm very much aware what is happening. But maybe I shouldn't be positive about the rest of the season and keeping our championship status. I should just be like you and assume that when someone is trying to be positive they are not educated enough to know what's really happening and throw a little dig. I have no power to input what goes on at management level. So the best I can do is back the 11 on the pitch
  21. Love your comment 👍 and what do you suggest we do?
  22. Looking forward to today's game. Plenty of off field rumours going on bringing a toxic debate between fans. The window is over with, Now all that matters is the squad we've got. Let's get behind the players and manager because on the pitch is what matters. You pay good money week in week out to support Rovers and the emotions we get will never change. 3 points #coyb
  23. Nathan is just guessing. If he was to go he'd be gone already. If he loses tomorrow then he could be relieved from his role as results have not been good enough. Nothing concrete to suggest either of these will happen. And Nathan said a new manager in place by the next game. Too quick for that to happen as well
  24. These short term deals and players who have contract ending unless we activate the extra year in the summer, suggests a summer overhaul with the squad. Wether money is invested or not swag needs to address the fans with the plan going forward. I for one can't trust anything he says, He needs to fulfil his promises and vision for the club and he has the funds and opportunity to do so
