    Yeah linked.

    Do you rate him?

Definitely yeah. He was our number 1 goalkeeper for a couple of seasons and was class. Only one or two issues were his distribution  from the back being over confident passing it out. But that was probably just the style of football we were playing under Mark Warburton. He’s been very unlucky with us signing Allan McGregor and losing his spot. He only played 8 games(including an old firm tho) last season but never put a foot wrong.  He also played in our Europa League qualifier on Thursday. Very good keeper who would be a great signing imo

Any idea how much money is being rumoured?

No disrespect but I wouldn't buy any souvenirs from rangers, you're not exactly Barcelona or real Madrid. Though I prefer u to Celtic even though I can't stand Steven Gerrard, such a sycophant

Didn’t really expect anyone to be. But it was just a warning as some fans might want something from a decent away trip to a stadium that many might not have been to.

Just incase anyone was we would rather the money went back into Rangers FC rather than that fat greedy so and so’s pocket

  3. Also some information regarding the club shop at Ibrox.

any Rovers fan looking to buy anything Rangers fans would like to ask you not to buy it at the megastore at Ibrox.

    Reasons in simple

our 'megastore', I.E. Club shop at the stadium is currently a no-go. We're still in a bitter legal dispute with Mike Ashley over our retail side of things, so the shop at the stadium is currently a Sports Direct that hasn't been restocked for at least two years - would respectfully ask that any Rovers fans who are looking to buy a souveneirs or anything.  We would guide them away from there and towards the Rangers Store in the city centre, right beside St Enoch subway.

I had a sneaking feeling the allocation was influenced by the Police, real shame as Rovers don't have a bad reputation with our travelling fans.

What do you expect the crowd to be Rangers fan?..I see they have been doing some improvements to Ibrox close Season too.

Would imagine a crowd of 20/25 thousand for this kind of game. Nowhere near our usual numbers but not bad for pre season

If we were to play you in a competitive game, both teams full strength it would be close I reckon. Could go either way. Although my gut feeling is ye would edge it due to having more of a winning mentality.

I'm from Ireland myself. Not a Celtic fan although it's obligatory I favour them over Rangers. You must be happy enough with the Lennon appointment? I can't belive they didn't go for someone like Benitez when so close to 10 in a row.

Yes 100% almost showing lack of ambition to really push on imo.

And I  feel that with the squad we are building now this could be the year we at least put a proper real challenge at the title. Showed it a bit last season beating them

My only prediction is that Morelos will kick/punch someone and get sent off. It could be a player, the ref, Tony Mowbray.....anyone.

Probably won’t be playing and doubt that would happen anyway mate?

Bit annoying how they only gave us 1650 tickets and they all sold straight away, part of stadium is closed. We could have shifted 1.5 times that, probably over 3k, many more if not a sunday friendly. If rangers came here wed have given them more.

Same is being said on follow follow our forum that we should’ve given you more tickets

You mention that way fans can pay on the gate, is that right? I thought we were getting no more.  I get back from holiday the day before but feel I should make the trip across to Weedgieland on the Sunday, clothes peg at the ready of course.

Sorry mate seems only home end is pay at the gate. Wouldn’t be any trouble if you a few Rovers fans were in home end tho.

Now there's a hell of a question to answer, RF! I'm not saying your guess is as good as ours, but we've had the pre-season from Hell.

Last Saturday, in our first friendly, we beat a team from the National League [= League Three, if you know what I mean.] The next game we should have played - this coming Sunday v. League One Rochdale -has been called off because their pitch isn't playable.

We've a game a week tomorrow at Mansfield Town, who got to the League Two Play-offs, followed by our trip to Ibrox. Midweek after that, there's a game scheduled against Bury, who were promoted from League Two at the end of last season - but seem to have imploded since - so we've real doubts about that game taking place, also.

Our final friendly - v. Blackpool [another League One team] - is arranged for the Saturday after we play you. And the weekend after that, the new season starts!?

So our game at Ibrox will probably be the strongest opposition we'll face in these friendlies, even if you field a few Reserves. So our team should be close to the one with which the manager intends to start our League season.

However, if you look at some of the other threads on here, quite a lot of us who'll be at the game query whether the team he picks a week on Sunday is actually the team that should be playing either you, or Charlton Athletic in our first League game.

In short, we need to sign a new goalkeeper and strong centre-half in the next 10 days or the 'joke' of fielding a 3-6-1 team might well come true.

We had a couple of behind close doors friendlies at our training camp in Portugal

On Sunday we played oxford in a friendly and won 5-0

Last night we played St Joseph’s in Gibraltar beat them 4-0. In the Europa League qualifiers. Also the lads who were left behind from the Europa League squad won 6-1 in a friendly vs Ayr United(Scottish championship)

    We play Marseille on Sunday

Then our second leg of the Europa league is next Thursday before playing the friendly vs Rovers the Sunday after

Bit of a mess so far then!

    Good luck anyway ??

  11. We’ve just one 4-0 in our Europa League qualifier in Gibraltar. A fairly easy game

We won’t be playing our best team against you guys . But sure it will be  a good match anyway

What kind of team will Rovers most likely put out?

Me and my Rangers supporting mate are off to this. looking forward to seeing a new stadium.

Unfortunately we sold out our allocation straight away so I'm having to sit with the home fans! Hopefully I wont get found out!

Sure you’ll no be the only one!

nobody will care with it being a friendly mate. Hopefully you’ll won’t have any moments to cheer anyway??

    Only kidding enjoy the game??

I heard on Sunday from a Rangers supporting friend that Morelos could be going for £20m and Daniel Sturridge coming in as his replacement on a three year deal.

    Have you heard anything?

    All rumor really

there has been a lot of interest in Alfredo Morelos for a while now as he is banging in the goals. Sturridge has been linked but no sure how true it is. He would probably be on ridiculous wages

  14. Hi guys Rangers fan here

really looking forward to having you guys up in Glasgow. According to your fan who was on our forum you are bringing a good crowd up. He said that you had sold out in your allocation but I think that you are able to pay at the gate for the game.

Imagine we will have a decent support but nowhere near our usual numbers of supporters.

I certainly wouldn’t worry about any trouble. You will get a warm welcome from us Rangers lads.
