  1. Was he the one who drove around Blackburn and said we looked poor and downtrodden?
  2. Yeah he played against Millwall away. I think it was the game after Mackay got sacked in 91. Tony Parkes was caretaker. He passes to Garner just before Johnrose scores. Watch "05-10-1991 Millwall v Blackburn Rovers" on YouTube https://youtu.be/G6RGghLLo7g
  3. This looks like it's been cut and paste from a claret/pne forum! 😅
  4. James Beattie. Born in Lancaster but lived in Blackburn from a baby in a Rovers supporting family.
  5. I'm sure done your research on this Matty and hats off to you! Fingers crossed that the club are as on the ball as you are.
  6. I suppose the crux is how many of those 1300 walk ons were previously st holders.
  7. Absolutely, if the walk ons were comprised of say approx 60% lapse season ticket holders and 40% pure walk ons, that's quite a different task than walk ons being approx 10% lapsed st holders and 90% pure walk ons. And yes the club have got to get some kind of approximation to know what they're dealing with......even a bit of stats regression might do the job!
  8. Well hopefully the club have the data to ascertain that on an individual basis and know for definite. Its useful info!
  9. I thimk I can see your thinking here. ie that generally the people who are walk ons are always just walk ons......and the season tickets holders generally either buy one or just dont come at all and it's those that we need to attract?
  10. If I'm honest Matty, that doesn't make sense to me. Im no expert but that would mean that if we sold 10000 season tickets then an extra 3000 would be walks on that aren't currently walking on.
  11. I hope you're right. If we had sold 10,000 season ticket, where would the current 3,000 extra be coming from? Surely most of them are people who decided against a season ticket in the first place. Meaning that the extra 3000 we would needed to reach 17,000 would be people who haven't started coming back.
  12. Mentioned in passing by someone on the Internet pal, or someone who knows things? Genuine question.
  13. To me a closer analogy is that you know you need suncream but the person with the suncream doesn't put it on for you. You're powerless to do anything and so as a result you don't trust thay person and worry about their reliability from that point on.
  14. Genuine qurstion pal but if you're not judging him on results is it down to something like his involvement in the training ground sale. I can def understand your thinking if so.
  15. I think the same applies to most northern teams.
  16. I don't remember us claiming to be s sleeping giant. They did!
  17. Looks like they're struggling to sell tickets for Wolves away tomorrow night. https://www.expressandstar.com/sport/football/wolverhampton-wanderers-fc/2021/11/29/wolves-to-have-largest-home-support-of-the-season-against-burnley/
  18. One of those two divisions we are hovering between, we've never been in and the other for only 7 years. There's plenty of muck you could chuck at us, but that's just factually incorrect.
  19. Every credit to you pal. Fans of the future will benefit from the selfless time that you and others are putting in.
