  1. I can agree. I'll also add Morsy is a horrible niggly player. Exactly what every team wants. With regards Warnock. I wasn't a huge fan before he was our manager. What he achieved keeping us up was a miracle and now I wouldn't have anyone else here. We put out 2 hour long zoom interviews with him and every fan is glued to them and you can listen to them all day. He's funny and just an all round football man. He says it how it is unlike most other people in football, such as Mowbrays pathetic excuse of an interview yesterday. Once he retires, any club that was lucky enough to have him in this division will remember him fondly, the rest will be happy about the day, not knowing what they've missed out on.
  2. Absolutely and he will be banned for it. Let's say Morsy goes to clear the ball but can't get his laces on it so stretches to use his studs In exactly the motion your defender did. Unbeknownst to him dack is behind him and gets to the ball first, Morsy accidentally makes contact with his leg and almost certainly if he goes studs first, breaks Dacks leg. Is it a red card because he didn't mean it. Absoltuely it is.
  3. Ahh fair enough. I did see some comments during the game about him. He was the best player in the Championship at the time and he's been out for so long I can understand the hatred.
  4. He could have lost his eyeball. That's not a common occurrence in football. Jimenez, Ryan Mason - those are similar incidents. Morsy committed, well tried to commit a professional foul that happens in most games, taking one for the team - I think it was Davenport did it in the first few minutes for you. Morsy was rightly booked for it. To say that was the worst challenge is ridiculous.
  5. Thanks. I always enjoy a trip to Ewood Park, we normally take a really good following. Hopefully I can go back soon. I think under Warnock, if things go right for us with injuries etc we should do. I said Norwich would win the league before it started and tbh anyone from about 16 teams in this league, including us and yourselves could have finished 2nd before the season started, I don't see a big gap in quality between the others. I don't think many teams will take 4 points from us this season so enjoy.
  6. Boro fan coming in peace here. I can't believe some people say it could be a yellow card not a red, although most accept it was a red. If you go in studs showing in that manner on someones leg, its a red card no question, so how is there any doubt 6 ft in the air with someones face its a red card or not? There's no way to prove it but as a fan watching, especially the rest of the first half, the incident made me totally switch off from the game and my head wasn't in it. I can only imagine how the players felt seeing it happen to a team mate and for me, I think it effected both teams in the first half. I think we came out the 2nd half probably after Dael had said to go out and win it for him, wanting it more and the better team, then the goal totally deflated that momentum and we could have lost by more. The point is forgetting the penalty and red card, I think the incident massively changed the game psychologically for the players - although I can't prove that and we were terrible in our last game against Birmingham so we'll never know.
