  1. yes, the third shirt will be on sale tomorrow. As an aside, reading through the past couple of pages on here some of the absolute dross around macron, kits, ordering quantities, dates, etc is quite embarrassing - people will defend it as speculation (or whatever) some of it is absolutely laughable 😂
  2. This 👆 it seems that a certain person within the club is starting to get slightly carried away with things, although must stricter rules in place this in time in relation to no footballs, shoes, etc on the pitch. Will be interesting to see how much of an effect these community initiatives have when it comes to fully paid tickets - whether that be match day, season ticket or corporate.
  3. given that sales of the monthly magazine which replaced the programme are pitiful and the programme lost money (hence the reason for it getting ditched), I genuinely don't see why the current management would consider bringing it back. There is still a place for a programme in the modern game, but Rovers want something that is going to turn a profit and (for me) a programme isn't and shouldn't be about generating profit for the club - more a vehicle to communicate with fans who don't live their lives on social media. While the club produce their 'match day supplement' and monthly magazine, I don't think that would be much, if any, call for an unofficial - fan produced - match day programme.
  4. I'd be surprised. Usually when they are doing extensive work on the pitch, it usually starts pretty much straight after the last home game on the season and given its over 2 weeks since the Bournemouth game and the early start to the season, with nothing happening 🤷‍♂️
  5. if he is the ears and ears of Venkys, then yes you'd say he has probably forgot his role as he is in and around the club a lot, goes to more than enough matches and surely must be able to see a club clearly going backward behind the scenes and in for a tough summer on the pitch, given the 'strength' of the squad once the loanees go back, the contract 3 leave and the possible sale of Brereton.
  6. Can't disagree with you there Glen... they've either learnt the mistakes of the previous two clowns or just a little bit more switched on.
  7. plus you'll be herded like cattle and marched up to the ground for the pleasure.
  8. I went into Jacks Kitchen earlier this season and to be honest for the price, found it a poor offering - the waiter service was terrible, the food was sub-standard with no real premium feel and despite being offered the opportunity to go again, have declined. Saying that I've been into the Premier Lounge twice this season and the overall experience is so much better and definitely worth the extra - chalk and cheese which is a shame as there is the demand there and it an increasingly important income stream for the club.
  9. they were people over from America - an Academy, I'm lead to believe - who played matches against the u16's and u18's before the match.
  10. surely the ladies would be covered within BLACKBURN ROVERS LADIES FOOTBALL CLUB LIMITED - 12033373
  11. dear me, I would say that you couldn't make up this... but 🤷‍♂️
  12. I've seen these on eBay - one was also produced for the 2002 League Cup win. If you got £10 for it, you'd be doing well.
  13. Will you send me a Private Message with how much you want for the item and if I can I collect it from you at the Coventry or Blackpool game? Thanks 🙂
  14. what it says in the title really... if you have any for sale, please message me with pictures. Thanks 🙂
  15. I'm a bit late to this however the title of the thread is "MOWBRAY, THE SUMMER AND BEYOND" however after going to Reading and numerous other away games in 2022 there simply SHOULD NOT be a Mowbray at Blackburn Rovers in the summer or beyond.
  16. for me Mowbray, Venus and Lowe all go. I'd give the role to Damien Johnson until the end of the season - he can't do any worse across many facets of the role with the view to bringing a new management team in after the season has finished - hit the ground running, with a full pre-season behind them and fresh impetuous. Unfortunately history tells us that won't happen as I very much doubt the club have the finances to attract an ambitious manager in terms of both salary and transfer budget or the infrastructure/personnel to find this new manager - John Park, Steve Waggott - neither of whom are going to **** on their own doorstep at the expense of the man who (in my opinion ) got them the job in the first place. An interesting summer awaits, however not one I can say I'm looking forward to with much relish.
  17. since January 1st 2022 (league only) P 13 W 3 D 4 L 7 F 3 A 9 Pts 13 from a possible 39 and on a pro-rata basis 46 points over the season - nailed on relegation that, for me at least, over the course of a slightly more than a quarter of a season isn't twists and turns. It's the sort of nosedive we've become accustomed to over the past few seasons... the best outcome for the manager, clubs and fans alike is not to offer him a new contract in the summer. For me personally, if we're not to blow what is/was our best shot at promotion since we got relegated 10 years ago, he needs to go now. A fresh voice, new ideas, actually playing players in their best position, a bit of charisma, a plan B could still get us into sixth. Under the current manager, we'll be lucky to get top 10!
  18. strange about the 1200 tickets being returned because when I went to get tickets today, I couldn't get an adult ticket and a 16-22 ticket together... 🤷‍♂️ still the most important thing is what happens on the pitch. COYB!
  19. Chorley will always be a yo-yo club unless the 'powers that be' who run the club, back them and run it as a full-time professional operation when in the National League. As with many clubs in the NLN they are run on a shoestring and by the goodwill of volunteers and would be a huge financial gamble to go full-time but if they could bridge that gap, could well be worth it.
  20. if that was the case for the medium to long term, I'd suggest that a lot of those club staff would loose their jobs and therefore that attitude from any staff would be counter productive.
  21. the updated table after Birmingham City - still over 2000 a game down on 2019/20 and 1700 down on 2018/19 Hopefully the games against Barnsley and Huddersfield show a marked improvement?
  22. why delete my comment because YOU worded a reply incorrectly... now THAT is divisive between admin and posters. I think the word you're looking for here is hypocrite 😂
  23. unless people know the figures involved, it's all conjecture I suppose.
  24. talk about dramatic reaction - sowing the seeds of division 😂 get a grip!
