  1. Going down I think. Don't think we will win a game now and depend on others below to bail us out.
  2. Will he bit fit for the next game? Seemed to pull a hammy late in extra time
  3. I never agree with fans on here complaining of the ref but he has been a total joke
  4. Very good first half. Obviously the boys know this is going out live on BBC and are well up for it. What will they be like at the weekend though?
  5. EFL confirm paperwork for McGuire not in by 11pm deadlien FFS. Has to be deliberate. Can anyone be that incompetent 2 yrs in a row?
  6. I feel sorry for JDT I must say. I think he has been screwed over by the club. I think he is a good manager (not without some weaknesses mind you). Its clear the team needed more experience and toughness. Way too many kids. Venkys using the club as a youth academy to rack up stats and sell them on. Had JDT got what he wanted I think he would get us promoted. My only criticism of him is he can be too idealistic in terms of tactics at times and there is a lack of steel in the team. Going a goal down is a guaranteed defeat, That's crazy stuff. Maybe if he got in his experienced goo pros this would change. I really fear who the next manager will be combined with the Venkys this club is going backwards fast. I'd rather a foreign coach rather than the dregs of English football. An appointment like Gareth Ainsworth for example would take us back to L1.
  7. I like JDT and think if he ws given the funds he would get us promoted. However this side is a soft touch. There's absolutely zero fight in them and if we go a goal down its curtains. I blame JDT wholly for that. Maybe he's too nice a guy. Maybe this team needs is a Roy Keane in charge right now.
  8. Wonder what the bottle of Jif (now Cif) ont he ground is for
  9. Bump Not quite last minute but not far off. 2 goals in last 10 mins. I have never seen another club ship so many late goals.
  10. Going back to when I started supporting the club: 92/93: Goals conceded: Late goal away to Liverpool (Walters) 93/94: Last minute goal away to Man Utd (ince) 94/95: Newcastle away Leeds Away Liverpool Away Comparing that to Man Utd in that era (92-96) I literally can't think of any last minute goals conceded for them.
  11. Is it just me or is it my perception that we seem to have let in way more last minute goals than we have scored? I can think of very few last minute goals for us. But we always seem to concede them. Even going back to 1994/95. We conceded a few last minute goals that season. The only last minute goal I remmeber was at Coventry and Old Trafford but it was disallowed. This and last season seems to be full of last minute conceded goals. Cant think of any for us off the top of my head.
  12. Kevin Moran was hard as nails. I imagine Gordon Cowans could hold his own also.
  13. I'm a big fan of JDT I have to say. Think he would be an excellent manager if he got backed int he transfer market. My only worry about him is when we are behind. The mentality of the team is a bit weak. Whether that's down to him or having a team of kids. I suspect its the latter. For any hope of promotion its vital we hold onto him and Szmodics.
  14. Sky showing the full game of last game of the 1994/95 season at Anfield. Remember it like it was yesterday. Forgot how different football was back then. Much more fast paced, frantic and scrappy. Was like watching a pinball machine. It seems like yesterday but it really is a long time ago now. Nearly 30 years! Bloody hell.
  15. Why cant we win from 1-0 down? We cant even draw. So sick of this. You know if we concede first its a near certainty the game is lost. Bizarre. And late goals. WTF is that about?
