A few years ago whats he done since? who drops out Travis/tronstad/cantwell? he’s not a priority for us - could be a decent signing for them lot but saying will tear up the league etc to me is a massive exaggeration danny murphy was an England international too

I do yes Iv been very clear on it in my opinion we need players that help us now. It’s too good a position AGAIN to waste the window on players that might need a month or so to get up to speed unless their an obvious big name

I didn’t say that but for what it’s worth he wouldn’t be a top priority for me/us at present but to say he will rip the league up I’m not sure what your basing that on? He’s 33 next month has played limited football this last 6 months which was in turkey as he couldn’t hack it at forest

Really? 2 starts in half a year limited minutes Playing in turkey - hasn’t played in England in 2/3 years - don’t think he will be ripping anything up tbh

I’m sure nobody is scrolling back to check and I apologise if it’s been missed by myself. However again I find it strange that something as big as that people haven’t spoke about at length on this forum. Considering we spoke about pears for about 15 pages on one occasion

I’m not saying it’s unrealistic as such I’m more saying at the drop of a hat in these forums any news true or fake is always brought up for debtate that for me seems quite a significant bit of news that has not been mentioned at all until now for me that’s the strange part

I’m meaning in these forums not in the public eye. These forums are full on ‘in the know’ information. If this happened 6 months ago how come it’s only now it’s been brought up on what is pretty big news just my opinion

That wasn’t the context of the conversation we were discussing the working ‘too good’ and you replied that poku and kitching ‘would be’ so your response was incorrect as for Eustace - if he isn’t pissed off then he isn’t a good manager

Agreed I do find some of his interviews a bit awkward which is fair as his job is coaching etc not to be the best at interviews/infront of cameras

Iv been down on the window and rightly so to date but the confirmed link with kitching from Elliot wasn’t mentioned or touted by anybody at all not even the great sir Alan Nixon so weirdly that gives me hope (it’s all I’m clinging to tbh)

There are certain ‘types’ of players you want round the dressing room and team - gueye at present seems to at least have that respect work ethic and whilst his finishing has a lot to be desired he has 6/7 goal contributions - but isn’t good enough I agree for what we need but it’s only half a season in new country etc Connolly is known to be a bad influence and I can’t foresee why Eustace would want him round the squad regardless of what potential he may or May not have

Aaron Connolly is a luxury player and certainly wouldn’t be a Eustace type player ie lazy bad attitude

Poku has played near 10 games less and has near double goals and assists - but based on availability he’s not an option

Because it’s the same - board need fans on board so each summer they come with a new plan a new narrative and a better window. We as fans buy into the manager gets a tune out of the team………then when we need it most in Jan there’s silence! We get same old spiel we need bodies out / Jan window difficult to operate in / agents hard to deal with / no value in the market / etc love to be wrong this time round as I genuinely believe this championship isn’t as strong as before so 6th could be a target if we get 3/4 decent players in but the ambition needs to be shown

Tanaka has been one of Leeds best players I can’t see tronstad displacing him as for Brittain to Sunderland something similar - Trae Hume one of their better players seems a pointless buy

Highly doubt cantwell has done enough to warrant any interest Brittain not this month tronstad would be my main concern but comes across as a character that would be happy to stay (depending on the bidder)
