Me and 8 others decided not to renew this time. First time since early 2000’s. It’s just not worth it. You miss 5/6 games a season due to midweek moves, early kick offs, other commitments and it’s probably cheaper to just buy on the day of the games you can attend.

Maybe that’s the same across the board in the championship, but usually we fall for the ‘watch this summer window! We are after pace! We have funds! Defenders are coming!’ but not this season.

We gave up on the club the minute our DoF said they didn’t spend in January as it wasn’t in the plan. He’s a fucking moron.

There is a constant dulling down of expectations, quality, and commitment year on year. This lot don’t want promotion, they will be show in front of millions of worldwide viewers just how incompetent they are, whereas now they can tick along quietly picking up a wage packet. We have literally zero saleable assets left at the club. Anyone who would potentially fetch even just 7 figures are now ticking into the last 12 months of their deals.

Until we have any sort of idea of what the product looks like next season, i.e. the actual 11 players on the pitch, I’ve no interest in renewing and potentially will give up a seat I’ve held for 20+ years. 

Same as every year, soon as the pressures off this lot decide they can play football again. Called it against Luton that we’d win 5 games in a row and miss out by a point. Blame falls way above their heads but this core of players need to look at themselves too, same story every single year.
