Venky’s (& Suhail) Out Protest Ideas

Atmosphere yesterday very much came across as end of season nothing to play for which is ironic that the players turned in a good performance with probably the least backing of the season. -
Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach

He came across as a sound bloke who'd rather please fans than the suits upstairs. -

Same here iv'e not been his biggest fan in terms of his pound for pound contribution here but i had to compliment him today he played like he should and put a shift in. -
Games like today remind you what it's all about and if only they'd turned up at Derby things might look a little different now.

Watched it back and he was hugging and high 5'ing the players before a rather sheepish clap to the fans but to be fair there was plenty interaction with the players. He still to me looks really uncomfortable here though. -

Classic Rovers turning in one of the seasons best performances when the beach is calling. Good afternoons entertainment helped by the fact Millwall came to have a go. The number of empty ST seats today in what was a respectable crowd total figure wise should act as a huge red flag to those upstairs. It won't though they'll just now be wondering how many offer they can muster up for Brittain and Tronstad. -
When and how did they square off the 8 million loan Suhail was banging on about ?

Yes set off now or avoid going that way if possible it's a complete nightmare. -

He is to football finance expertise what Jim Dale is to climate predictions. -
Outside of a few it's the mildest fanbase in England i'm afraid, almost resigned to living in a permanent void as punishment for the previous good times.

Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach

Considering he's a know all gobshite of the highest order i think he's always seemed reasonably fair towards Rovers but as mentioned he always tends to look at things from an ownership point of view. Yet another not possessing all the facts and blinded by the 20 mill a season to keep a small town club going narrative. If these lazy journos did some due diligence on anything outside of the top 6 they might learn something worth debating. -
If they lose this guy there should be uproar.
-
We are still in the dark as to what they actually do and who pays them. Other than ticking a couple of boxes to follow UK company law that is and removing the need for any actual real hands on directors,
-
What would be call a serious low level that would give them very little excuse to manipulate it ? Would have to be 5k or below imo as anything else will be batted off as cost of living/tv schedules, bad vibes from dissenters, some which no doubt play a part but not to any great level. Personally i still think they'll get to 6.5k which is serious but not enough for the panto villains to be held accountable in a big Barry cattle prod kangeroo court.

Dolan out Dilan back in, bookmark it. Bean counters will love that and Ismael will - be told - to embrace it.

If he'd any intention of staying he'd have signed an extension long before now the writing has been on the wall for 18 months. If this lot had any intention of keeping him they'd have tied him down way before now so just another in a long line of Waghail failures who'll leave for shirt buttons compen. As inconsistent as he is he can never be accused of ducking the graft on the pitch so good luck to him i expect he'll be having a stormer against us next season for a Boro or WBA.

As someone pointed out on another platform we just have a business box ticking board of directors not a football one or club one and certainly not a Blackburn one. Discounting the non exec faker.... A COO from Venkys and possibly an agency rep. A CEO 2 ownership finance directors probably both India based. It's the most non football, non Blackburn board you could imagine, more akin to one at a minor supermarket chain.
-
Any good ambitious upwardly managing board of directors would be saying to the supposedly now un compromised and wealthy ownership that now is the perfect time to reinvest in quality for next season and future sales. Would also help ST sales which should be held at current prices throughout summer !
-
The people at this end an in between have created a situation where they've told them we are ok for now we don't need any money. This will reflect in their standing in India and probably in their pay packets, bonuses and job security. Meanwhile another promotion tilt is ruined, another highly regarded head coach has left and at some point in the near future the squad will suffer further weakening. Do they give a #### ? No.
-
Well he doesn't like me he blocked me on twitter for calling out these lot repeatedly but regardless of that when guys like him start to flag this up you have to take notice. These people are concerned first and foremost with covering their own jobs and salaries and the numerous other perks and ego trips that come with their positions. The min they are questioned or put into the spotlight they go into meltdown and panic mode, that tells its own story. It's a real comfortable little number keeping the club barely ticking over with no other ambition than to keep the lights on and keep the ownership under impression that is all their club should now do in this era and everyone is happy.

Years ago it was Cheston i think who said all the money taken at Ewood goes towards the staff at Ewood and operational staff whilst the owners underwrite the football players and football staff costs. Pretty self explanatory when you look at the figures, biggest bulk of income is media/player sales and owners loans, biggest expense by far is football staff and player wages. A couple of mill in season tickets just about covers the directors and staff inside Ewood.
-
Staff yes, players no. How much do you think is left out of ticket income to pay players after all ground staff, office staff, Swaghail, Rudy and co are paid ?
-
Haven't seen a post that said it does. It does pay the wages and perks of Swaghail and Gestede though....

Yep it needs a serious genuine bidder with the correct finance structure and plan to step up and make an official offer. That then gives those in the middle nowhere to hide because it's a public offer and the owners will get to know about it, it'll also ramp pressure on them to pull their fingers out instead of easily batting off questions with the same old shtick. The owners might still say bog off but at least fans have something to cling to and can't settle for the same old BS. Sadly it'll probably never happen because any interest will just keep watching and waiting for admin or a plummet down the leagues first until we are worth a fiver. If someone is out there please step up ! -
As are Boltons gates since they did their ST deal a few years ago and once they eventually climb back into this league they'll quickly re-establish themselves above us. Then the talk will be 'oh they ave 20k we can't compete with that'. The down scalers here have almost won their battle to permanently reduce this clubs size and standing into one they can easily manage.
