  1. As for the Matteo praise.....well in our last away game Nissa got highly praised for his performance and then sucked in the home game. Matteo will be no different for he is crap.
  2. Wayne Routeledge vs. Dominic Matteo. The words 'full' 'gone' and 'conclusion' spring to mind..
  3. I am simply in tears over that line-up. I am assuring you all that Flitcroft in the line-up today will not work at all and we will suffer because of it. And why oh WHY is Matteo back in the starting line-up... We should of kept Johansson at left-back for away games.. And as for the lack of Pedersen...well I'm beyond words..
  4. If he can perform like that regularly in training and reserves (after watching cuidado's media file) then he will surely get into the side. He is a better footballer than Reid.
  5. What an optimist! I think it will be a hard-fought 2-1 victory to us! My side put out would be: Friedel Neill NEJ Todd Gray Emerton Ferguson Reid MGP Dickov Gallagher
  6. Hey guys I don't want any disturbances here... I just want to post ok. So don't accuse me of being someone I'm not We're all supposed to be fans united..... riiiight?
  7. Excuse me but what the fook!!'? o___O Ermmm I wouldn't be surprised if another fan here hated Matteo anyway.
  8. *fingers crossed* Please don't be Bournemouth! Please don't be Bournemouth!
  9. Ciccio Grabbi with only the use of one leg could provide more attacking and defensive prowess than Matteo.. Maybe Hughes likes Flitty from his time at the club as a player...
  10. I must admit it was dissapointing to not see either Morten Gamst or De Pedro on the bench. Of course Hughes probably felt Thompson and Bothroyd would be the main attacking substitutes needed. With Reid and Emerton non-effective against Spurs down the flank, surely this will make Sparky look at his other wingers?
  11. If I recall I think 1 or 2 games ago NEJ was actually being highly praised...
  12. I think we really should of tried and signed Okocha in the summer. I know a lot of people were against it but he has the attacking flair and innovation we need to create something out of nothing...
  13. I think this will be a very tight encounter but plenty of goals. However, if the likes of Defoe, Kanoute and Keane hit their best form in this game then I think we will crumble I'm afraid... We need the first goal to get us off to a good start because I feel Spurs might just have too much firepower for us... Rovers 2 (Dickov, Emerton) Spurs 3 (Defore x2, Mendes) My side: Friedel Neill Short Todd Johansson Reid Ferguson Tugay Emerton Dickov Gallagher ----------------------
  14. The same man who signed Emerton, Ferguson, Dickov, Thompson as well? I have to wholeheartedly agree with herbergeehh on this one, we were pissing all over Fulham and there was really next to no chance of them bringing it to 2-2. We have a very talented player in Morten-Gamst and although I'm not as passionate about him as cuidado, I do rate him and think he deserves a few 10-20 mins in a first-team match, especially in a match like our last, when we were dominating. And Matteo being a "proven premiership defender" is the best joke I have encountered all week...I salute you!
  15. Or maybe we just want to see our most expensive signing this summer to have at least a chance, since players like Reid, McEveley and Gallagher have come out of the reserves and given a run in the first-team. Sheeeesh stop being such a drama queen..
  16. McEveley has appeared regularly in the first team? A regular appearance rate of 1 game per 15 or so ... Well he was a regular for the past few games. Nothing to stop Morten Gamst getting a similar run if he can prove himself.
  17. Neither has McEveley but he has been playing regularly..
  18. As was Steven Reid. As was Brett Emerton, most times, excluding the Wolves mauling. We are now reaping the rewards of being patient with these two guys and giving them TIME on the PITCH to adapt. Yet the two players you've mentioned have now proved themselves,, MG @#/? hasn't. Morten Gamst clearly hasn't been giving the amount of chances Reid and especially Emerton, have...
  19. And considering he scored 3 in 1 game, that really isn't bad. Against a very sh!te defence if I remember rightly?
