  1. Initially Bolton have been given the lower section of the Darwen End as the Club hope we have sufficient demand from the Rovers fans to fill the top tier of the Darwen End. If Bolton do sell out their lower section and we still have space in the home end, the Club may extend the away section. So let's hope we have a top tier full of Rovers fans!
  2. As stated by Stuwilky, all STHs received 'The Card' with a letter explaining the promotion while highlighting that STH still and will always get the BEST deal. Also as STHs are ambassadors of the Club, we are hoping that you will pass on 'The Card' to any guest that you may bring to a game this season. Judging by your post, it seems that you haven't received the letter, is this the case? I have pasted the STH letter just incase. <<< Dear Season Ticket Holder, Thank you for your continued loyal support. As a Club, we strive to give our Season Ticket Holders the maximum value and you will continue to receive the BEST discounts on attending games at Ewood. It is clear though, that we must also do everything we can to increase the number of matches our non-Season Ticket Holders attend. We must do this whilst protecting the value of the Season Ticket. Please find enclosed a copy of ‘The Card’ which we are re-launching as a means to encourage more of our fans to visit Ewood more often. The details are explained within the enclosed mailer. ‘The Card’ is aimed at Adult supporters only (i.e. 16 to 65 years). As the mainstay of the Club’s support, it would be fantastic if you would encourage your friends and family to use ‘The Card’ as the best way for non-Season Ticket Holders to make games at Ewood as affordable as possible. Please pass this copy on if at all possible. More copies are available from the Ticket Office should you require them. • ‘The Card’ can also be used in conjunction with the ‘Proud to be a Rover’ Adult membership scheme which, for non-Season Ticket Holders, costs just £20 for the year and amongst other benefits provides two £10 OFF vouchers for ANY League game at Ewood. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us on 08701 123456. Thanks in advance for your help and enjoy the season! Ticket Office >>>
  3. Firstly the Club does apologise for the inconvenience that a minority (less than 1%) of our ca 45000 fans on the email list suffered- which was due to an IT issue that brought down our email system at the end of last week and over the weekend. This problem has been rectified since. Secondly the forthcoming fixtures info forms a small part of our regular matchday newsletters. There is plenty of other content and promotions like The Card, our various membership schemes etc. Thirdly the email isn't the primary source of fixture information and merely acts as a last minute reminder and we admit that it is far from ideal that a small fraction of these landed after the event. Every effort will be made to stop this from happening again.
  4. How do you expect the Club to compete with travel agents? It's the chartered plane thats the biggest cost in the package
  5. Firstly, the Club have taken the maximum away allocation, 729. The Corporate clients will be seated in Executive seats on the halfway line and will not affect the above figure. The travel package is a non-profit exercise and is an experience that can only be had through official channels.
  6. Or check the Hospitality microsite http://hospitality.rovers.co.uk
  7. Last time Rovers finished 6th, we lost 1500 STH
  8. The Club have invested a decent sum in new systems to improve the communications channels and get information, especially price and offers as quickly as possible to the fans. We send regular emails out, however there are alot of fans who we don't have their emails and who probably miss out on exclusive members offers like the tickets for the 'An Audience with Mark Hughes' last year, as they were quickly snapped up by those who received the email. If you would like to update your details, here's the link https://eticketing.co.uk/blackburnrovers/ Adult Season Ticket - from £14.21 per game Junior Season Ticket - from £5.21 per game Young Adult Season Ticket - from £9.21 per game And if you can't afford to pay it in full, there's a debit debit instalment plan option (£28.89 per month) which is still available
  9. Purely for security reasons. The membership packs were fulfilled by an external fulfilment house.
  10. The multiple accounts are created by the various internal systems the Club have in place (i.e. Online ticketing, mail order, TO, website etc) and these have been merged to one single record. So you won't need to worry about merging your account with your dad. The Club do apologise for any inconvenience this has, or may cause.
  11. On the database, there were quite a few fans with several records against their name and so we have merged them into one single record and these will have received a new card.
  12. No ST cards were mailed with the Membership packs. ST cards were sent out seperately and only to those to that have moved seats or age group. Everyone else was reminded to keep their ST cards from last year.
  13. Do keep in mind that it's not easy to verify if you're the actual person that you claim to be over the phone. If the club had your email address in your record, then I'm sure you could have emailled them and they would have been able to amend your record. So the safest way for the TO to deal with this issue, is by you visiting the Ticket Office with ID. That way, they know for sure who you are. In saying that, you should be able to change your details online. You should have received your login and password with your ST mailer last season. If you don't remember them, then I suggest you email marketing@rover-mail.co.uk with your name and client ref nr (which can be found on your ST card) If you don't have it, then email your postcode and DOB
  14. The tattoo transfer is actually a window sticker. It's also included in the adult pack, to be used as a car sticker. Also don't forget to bring the clap banners down to Ewood. Show the drummer, how it's supposed to be done.
  15. Unless you've changed seats/stand or moved up a category (i.e. junior to young adult, adult to senior etc)
  16. Where it's also £24 for Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool games. Have you actually sat in that area? Rovers have got one of the lowest (if not THE lowest) entry level prices for a match ticket in the Premiership. Adult Tickets from £15 for the Wigan game and it's only a £5 for the kids.
  17. Pontus Farnerud is a close friend of mine. I would say his brother, Alexander (also at Strasbourg) is probably the more talented of the two but I doubt either of them are suited for the Premiership. If we're looking at Swedish players in the French league, Kallstrom (mid) and Isaksson (gk) would be my pick.
  18. You get two £5 vouchers that can be used at the above games, but you forgot to mention that it comes at a cost - £10 for adults
  19. Surely the total costs of purchasing a membership (which are only valid for a season) and a matchday ticket will make it more expensive than just purchasing a ticket.
  20. In my opinion Boateng's injury, is the biggest reason to Boro's downturn in form. He's by far their most influential player. Not sure what the other players are on up there, but I would expect Viduka, Hasselbaink, Mendieta, Southgate to be above that- so don't think the wages are that bad. What's more surprising is the length of the contract for someone that age.
  21. And Bentley is the first Rovers player to score a league hattrick since Chris Sutton almost 8 years ago.
  22. He'll probably play the same position as Diouf, on the left.
  23. You could have joined the adult membership scheme and got a fiver off the game and another fiver off 2 more B-games.
