Id say that about Dunny, but i have no time for Yorke whatsoever and hope that most other Rovers feel the same. Dunn is 1 of us and id like to see him do well in general. Yeah I really miss Dunnie... I'm praying that all is not lost with Thommo, he is one of my fav Rover players and I think we could really turn the corner if he returns free from injury, but of course the problem of our crap defence remains. I would absolutely love for Dom Matteo to be sold, but I really doubt that is going to happen for awhile, being a new signing and all, he probably be given a few chances to prove himself.. I would get rid of Flitcroft, I'm sure a 'Championship' club would snap him up, but I would keep Tugay to the end of the season. The Jansen goal proves nothing, he still has a lot of proving to do and if he still can't recapture his ability then get rid (sorry Matt fans..) Since our defence seems inevitably a shambles at the moment, is it really too much of a risk to throw in a member of the youth team at centre-back?

Just goes to show what happens with pressure. I mean some of the media and even general football fans were suggesting towards the end of last term (and the start of this season) that Stead is our best player in general, which was ludicrous, he was just a under-rated player from the lower regions buzzing with confidence, now he has had pressure on him he is failing. I think its best to put him in the reserves and see what he can do. I think Sparky is trying hard to make sure Jansen gets a game, he obviously admires and likes Matt and is trying to fit him into the team, albeit as a left-midfielder, because players like Dickov, Djorkaeff and Bothroyd deserve chances, yet he still wants Matt to feature. Pedersen is our man for left-mid, or De Pedro of course. Think of all the fuss we had last season so desperately seeking a left-winger, now we have two and don't use them..
