  1. i hope dickov and savage,do not play, playing against the their old team and all that. just a quick word on the 1992 playoff final,me personally have no grudge to grind, you were the better team and deserved to win. as for the penalty, there appeared to be minimal contact with walsh and speedie, but speedie is like shearer, very clever in decieving the referee. and i for one, would have not complained if we had a penalty like that.
  2. hi,lads and lasses. being a foxes fan,i thought i would give you my opinion. I think it will be a quite an entertaining game, leicester have changed there style of football from hoofers to more of a passing game, and create a lot more chances. last saturday, was gut wrenching to lose to forest in the manner we did,we had 19 chances to there 6,but the inability to find the net is a big concern,as it has all season. this sunday will depend on a few points. 1. how blackburn approach the game, complacency could be a big issue. 2.with 7,000 fans making the journey, this will fire leicester up. 3.discipline,sav and dickov will be definately be up for it,but could they lose their cool. 4. chances;leicester will get chances, but if they fail to put them away, the game may be over by halftime. i notice a lot of you are going 2-0,which is no surprise,as you are worthy favs, but hey its an f.a.cup,and everybody likes the underdog. whatever happens,i am just pleased to get this far,as our season has been dreadfull, and staying up is priority.
  3. not guilty 1864 roverite. talk about memories of the match, one of my mates got ejected for being drunk. so what did he do spent £100 on a ticket for the blackburn end only to get ejected again,oh happy days even though we lost
  4. hopefully dabizas has turned over a new leaf. last season he got sent off at charlton, this season he scores against them. can lightning strike twice
  5. just out of interest has your team improved on last seasons squad, i no you have sav and dickov, but as a set of fans do you think you are stronger.
  6. greggyk, you probaly think i have got my tinted glasses on. but since christmas we have started to perform, the only defeat was at ipswich. a game we should have never lost. at the start of the season we were favourites with some firms to go straight back up,which was no surprise with the squad we had. but unfortunately last seasons hangover was carried on,and its only now we are recovering. believe me you will be surprised how good this leicester team is,regardless of the false position we are in.
  7. this would be our probable team. 1 ian walker 2jordan stewart 3 nikos dabizas 4 dion dublin 5alan maybury 6 stephen hughes 7 gareth williams 8danny tiatto 9joey gudjohnnson 10keith gillespie 11 marc de vries or david connolly. as you see a wealth of experience, gillespie has refound his confidence, and is now taking on and beating full backs. the midfield is stronger now than it was in the prem. the only drawback is the strikers do not get enough goals.
  8. herbeegeeh,of course there is no easy route. but i would sooner play blackburn away rather than manure. craig levein is starting to build a decent side, which micky adams was incapable of. with 1 defeat in the last9 games, the future is looking bright for us. are paths have crossed quite a bit over the seasons, and some leicester fans have not forgot the playoff final. which i cannot understand because you deserved to win. looking forward to seeing workaholics dickov and savage again, thats if you beat burnley. but even though you are in the prem,i really thing there is little between the 2 sides.
  9. how ironic,we (leicester) are saying exactly the same things as you,a easy passage to the semis. do not underestimate us,we are playing really well, just ask charlton fans. plus strange as it might sound,a lot of leicester fans are GLAD,its an away tie.
