IMO Football is all about the highs and lows of the season and reading Revidges comments after a great week was fantastic and I always used to read the ones after a crap week as well - it's nice to know other people suffer the way I do over the Rovers. :!: The other thing about Jason's column is it doesn't really fit the Rovers, everything is a bit wishy washy - the Rovers either do it well or really really badly... Whenever Rev made a comment that credited the management there was always a word of caution to make sure we didn't get too carried away. How about doing it for this site instead?

Anything by Tim Parks - particularly recommend 'A season with Verona'... flits from being quite heavy about what Italian supporters get up to and then great light reading about the passion on the Curva's around Italy... Fantastico!

Agreed! Scooter have a real way with words! I had MTV on the other day and one of their tunes came on, one line I remember- 'respect to the man in the ice cream van!'- Genius! I was away in germany a few weeks ago and saw that scooter video - thought it was most amusing... so I put a note on my phone to remind me to download the video for a laugh. Anyway I forgot about it (hence the note on the phone) and then last night downloaded it, watched it and was in hysterics - so amusing! If any of you have broadband download it! I hate dance music but this is a great video! In fact I may change my signature!
