  1. I'm looking forward to catching my first Rovers matches this fall - hopefully a domestic game @ Ewood + a Uefa groupstage away match. Somewhere tiny, obscure and out-of-the-way would be my preference, assuming we get that far!
  2. tough to call this one - first game of the season against an unknown foe and all ... i envision a fairly tepid affair, low scoring. 1-0 Rovers (Benni)
  3. mexico and S&M are the 2 darkhorse teams i've got money on ... also think costa rica can make some noise
  4. hehe no i dont have any family/friends from that part of the world ... just basing my predictions on how the sides looked in qualifying - as well as the gut instinct factor. seems to me that usualy the final 4 are made up of 2 favorites and 2 suprises, so i went with that. it'd be a shocker though for sure!
  5. definite madness! but only 24 days to go....
  6. My feeling is that slowly but surely the rest of the world is catching up to the european/south american powerhouses, and results at upcoming world cups will reflect this growing parity. Not to say that there arent perennial favorites, just that perennial results will be harder and harder to come by. Having said that, my top 4 at this time are: 1. Serbia & Montenegro 2. Argentina 3. Brazil 4. Croatia My Dark(er) horses: Paraguay, Costa Rica, Sweden, Mexico
  7. Hi all -- I'll tackle: Paraguay -vs- Sweden Ivory Coast -vs- SerbiaMontenegro Togo -vs- Switzerland wooohooo!
  8. gotta say im really excited to have a european match to come see next season for my first rovers game ever ...
  9. I'm thinking a 0-0 draw is in order ... neither team is going to want to lose this one and i'll bet the play will be very conservative.
