  1. What's Lawro's prediction for this one (or has he decided to give up)? I've had a quick look at the beeb footy site but can't find it.
  2. Do you know something we don't?
  3. I'm quite enjoying this one. None of our remaining opponents will be looking forward to the Blackburn game.
  4. Go on, Norwich. This is great fun.
  5. You can lipread still photographs? You should be working for a deaf charity. Personally, I find your fascination with all things blue and white most interesting. Come on over. The water's lovely.
  6. After 32 games last season, we had 31 points. We had just lost to Portsmouth (H), Liverpool (A) and Leeds (H), and were deep in the brown stuff. Four consecutive wins saw us take 13 points from the last six games to finish on 44 points in 15th position. At the moment, we have 36 from 32 and stand in 14th position. I'll take 13 points from our last six games quite happily. I reckon that would give us an 11th place finish.
  7. I watched the game on Saturday without commentary, and I just thought it was a normal game of football, with no more bad challenges than you would find in a normal Premier League game. Those challenges which were of an over the top or cynical nature were rightly punished by cards, and not another word needs to be spoken. Well played Rovers for still being in the game going into the last ten minutes against far superior opposition. Onwards and upwards.
  8. To be fair to Amoruso, we have yet to see him play in behind our new protective midfield setup. When he was playing earlier in the season the defence was under far too much pressure, and pressure is bound to force errors. We will not see him play until Todd or Nelsen become injured or suspended. He will have to decide whether he wants to stay at Blackburn as cover or move on. It wouldn't surprise me if he chose to look for another club. I'm sure Sparky wouldn't stand in his way.
  9. But that wasn't just any defeat. They managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory in "one of the most important games in their recent history".
  10. I haven't got any sides still left either.
  11. There's no way that shower will beat Man Utd without Dyer and Bowyer. I'm looking forward to seeing them beaten on Sunday and overhauling them in the league.
  12. Ha ha ha! Up yours, Sourpuss. I'm going to have another beer to toast our Portuguese friends.
