I just can’t see how our lot suddenly grow some balls, I’m afraid leopards never change their spots. Two wins in 20 plus games and that indefensible capitulation at Bristol suggests we have very little chance of surviving.

We’ve always had a few battlers in the team. Maybe Sammie is the only one left and JRC. We’ve lost Travis.

This just came up on my YouTube. I had not seen it before or, quite probably these days, forgotten.

A chance to see Shearer's and Sutton's first goals for Rovers plus more....

To pre empt any living in 1995 slurs my answer is FO

Watched this a while ago. Was welling up as usual, but this time the tears were flowing.

If I hadn’t tasted riches, I could live with being poor? Or is it better to have had complete happiness and lost it, than to never had it at all?

I was telling my 14 year old lad the other day, that it always felt like a dream winning the league, but often I almost wonder if it happened at all.

It’s disgusting what Venky’s have made us.

I’m starting a gofundme to send @ABBEY over to India. Who’s with me? 😉

When Lowe is deemed to be more switched on you know you’re in trouble.

I seem to remember him kicking off in a match a few seasons back? Was it Luton at home. I think he’s got some fight in him. But, yes it’s a bad sign.

sure he is,he`s weak as a manager, the players will have picked up on it and realise they can away with certain things now, they did the same with henning berg,if a manager does`nt put a statement of intent out that he`s the boss then players won`t respect him,he had the chance to stamp his authority over everyone when hyam was playing like an alcoholic tosspot,he bottled it because he did`nt want to upset his captain

This is one of the things that separates good managers from bad/average. Players need a bollocking sometimes and often you need to make this clear the fans that you’re not taking any shit.

This can also come from the upper management. Can you imagine Uncle Jack standing for his bullshit?

Might end up like Kidd, who was all nice and then we lost to Southampton and he starts coming out with rubber dingy men stuff.

Useless will probably say he’s proud of the players when we go down without a wimper or another win.

I don’t why people are surprised by these results. It happens at the end of every season. Teams that appear to be “ dead and buried “ start fighting for their lives. Tomorrow we get a chance to do the same. Let’s see ether we can do the same.

We haven’t got it in us.  Not under this manager anyway.

In the same paragraph at today's presser. He's said there's no excuses here, only after pointing out that there's tired bodies and the boys got back at 3am from Bristol.

    What's being insinuated here then?

He’s just going through the motions.

At least when shit was hitting the fan with Mowbray, like against Derby, we had some personalities to take matters in their own hands.

I thought Eustace was a midfield hard-man player? He seems like a wet lettuce to me.

I’m not a fan of Roy Keane, but I would have loved to have him as a manager on Wednesday night. They were shit, just say it how it is. It was unacceptable and they didn’t earn their wages.

my thoughts are the same as they were pre Bristol City game.

    No

The same place as it did before the Bristol City game and I don't change my mind based on one single game or make knee jerked reaction after one loss which granted was bad

This is barely knee jerk. We’ve hit relegation form and we could seriously end up just staying out of the relegation places on goal difference by this time tomorrow(though if we play like Wednesday night, we could easily see a cricket score).

1 win in 12 isn’t good enough. It’s okay grinding out draws when you’ve got a good buffer, but the other teams around are winning games.

I admire your positivity, but it’s completely blind. If you were a stoner hippy, I could understand it or maybe a Buddhist or something. You’ve either discovered a completely chilled out zen state of mind or are a complete ostrich 😉☺️

    I imagine you’ve not got a grey hair! 😂

Not as thick as he thinks we are... imagine expecting fans to believe that a 5-0 defeat to an average side won't have any effect on our confidence leading up to playing one of the best sides in the league! 🤣

Don’t worry it’s a good opportunity to come again on Saturday 🙄

It is harsh to say it but it seems so.

    He literally comes across clueless.

Just apologize to the fans it wont make you bleed or cost you anything you idiot.

I’m still shaking my head in disbelief at that interview. I know you don’t want to lose your players, but if I were manager I wouldn’t be able to hold back.

I know it was going completely Pete Tong under JDT, but at least he didn’t just talk absolute shite like this guy. We’ve had so many managers that just talk shit, Mowbray, Grinder Gary, Kean.

He did NOT like that question about the fans looking at the table and being worried!

"Fans can see what we've done over last 10/11 games have been fantastic."

    1 win in 13 John.

Fuck me.  “They can see what we’re trying to do” it’s like the Kean days.

All I’ve seen over the last 10/11 games is 1 win.

Not taking Hyam off at half time and making those subs is gross misconduct.

So far he’s above Kean, but under Coyle for me.

If we don’t it isn’t because he is any good. I considered him to be a fraud, but after come impressive away win, thought perhaps he deserves a bit of slack. He is out of his depth and will not make a success of this gig.

We need to check he hasn’t got a relegation bonus.

Hyam with another stinking pass to set up a counter for City. Duffy aside I cannot recall such an appalling performance from a centre half in rovers colours.

    Our captain? He’s a joke.

I lost all respect for him after the calm down bullshit and the secret fans meeting. Sammie should be captain.
