  1. That was bad. This team, who reportedly lost confidence in JDT, ought to look themselves in the mirror and question their mental strength, their football ability and their own career achievements. Love or hate JDT, he was a winner, who took on a team of, let's have this right, losers. And they had the audacity to question his methods. As for Eustace, I would love to give him time, but he let us all down this evening and I will be closely following his post match presser. I want ownership of a poor performance - no excuses, no cliches.
  2. Moran should not have started CM - Garrett should have. It felt like JDT used him as a point-proving exercise about our CM options. I want the LT/BBC to put that to him next time he speaks to them.
  3. I don't think there will be anyone booing Gallagher? He gets criticised but really don't think he's hated.
  4. I hate criticising JDT, but Wharton really struggles adapting to the pace of the game. He shouldn't have brought him on. Hedges should really look at his character tonight. It wasn't the time for a cheeky attempt on goal. If he'd skied it over then fair enough but that was absolutely stupid. That said, he was the difference maker when he came in. Brereton was poor, dreadful in helping us keep the lead. Football is a cruel game.
  5. Does anybody know what time the game will be put on RoversTV today/tomorrow?
  6. A final point, Gregg understands BBD has not signed a contract at Villareal.
  7. And just to add, he clearly states he believes in his current squad and although there's been a missed opportunity, the whole club needs to stick together for the rest of the season.
  8. In his pre match presser, JDT is his usual self, no signs of suggested toxicity. He talks of frustrations and disappointment, says it's "not great but not a complete waste." He says we need to stick together.
  9. Fair enough. I absolutely agree that the CM's control and manage the games. I think we did that yesterday, our possession shows that, as does 8 eight shots on target. But ultimately, yesterday as an example, Brereton was given a chance to score and finish the game off, but didn't. He also missed a glorious opportunity against Bristol City last week which puts us 1 up. Gally whenever he had the ball yesterday just gave it away which is a recurring theme. Broughton's point about needing 'game changers' is spot on. Our game changer last season and the first half of this season was Brereton. With his goals dried up, and we can't rely on Dack too much so soon, we need a striker or two who are in-form.
  10. CM isn't the problem. It's a lack of in-form strikers. Brereton appears to have dropped Diaz from his name. Gallagher simply isn't good enough. He has one hell of a strike on him but isn't intelligent enough to consistently get in to positions to unleash shots. Nor can he be trusted on-the-ball outside the area, he loses it every time. Needs moving on. Vale shows willingness but needs a year out on loan to 'toughen up'. We need two strikers, who can be trusted on and off the ball, in the next three days.
  11. Disappointing to hear about the alleged racist abuse - has no place in society. Those around the individual should call them out there and then for their shameful behaviour.
  12. The could be something to Thomas.... Gus Williams (former Wales FA) is in charge of our recruitment.
  13. Sorry to bring up an old dinosaur... But this clip really showed the inept nature of our previous manager... https://www.instagram.com/reel/Cja70qysD51/?igshid=MDJmNzVkMjY=
  14. I concur btw. I love the idea of a forum/messageboard, it's fantastic to see a commnuity thrive in the way BRFCS has. My one and only point is this is a transfer thread and I think other chat should be in another thread. If there's nothing to talk about re transfers this thread should be quiet. That's just the way I view it. I'm not in charge though. FYI I'm blocked by Nixon...
  15. It might not be compulsory to stay on here but it puts off people coming on to the site. It's boring, irrelevant and not even remotely amusing. If I was new to the site, (and maybe wanting to sign up) I'd scroll through all that and choose not to.
  16. Interest in Ampadu could be as a result of our new Head of Recruitment Gus Williams.
  17. Brittain's on his way - very trusted journo in South Yorkshire Andy Giddings
  18. Surely that's a good thing? It seems no-one in the media can get a sniff of the inner workings around the manager search - quite right it should be that way. This also seems to be the case in the last two transfer windows with signings being kept relatively behind-the-scenes.
  19. There's a podcast that covers the Venkys reign that suggests Samba leaving saved the club from serious trouble i.e liquidation And Samba knew it.
  20. I'm 31, been on and off this board for 15 odd years and every time Unleaded posts I always get a bit excited for what's posted. Sad, I know.
  21. This is not me defending Hedges. I'm on the fence. But there hasn't been many times Hedges has been dragged off after an hour. Aberdeen might view that that his head has been turned and want rid.
