  1. The bottom ones quite old, but these vids are doing the rounds at the moment. Both funny for their own reasons in my opinion. Anyone who's ever been on a night out can relate to the first one. The seconds just funny. (both are clean!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wOdlEacIxBs
  2. I understand peoples frustration at Benni but why do people say 'look at his goal scoring record recently its going downhill" then follow it up by saying 'lets replace him with Beattie' i dont understand?, Beattie has never had a great goal scoring record. even when he has scored a few goals they all came in a quick spell then fizzled out again ( like when he scored 13 in 13 at S'ton). I think that 'swap' would be a mistake for the club.
  3. After watching the video on the ground development, does anybody know why the club changed their plans with the ground? as the artist imprssion showed joining corners for the ground?
  4. I'm not sure how true this is, but i remember once being told that the reason there is a riot van parked outside of the Aquaduct Pub, was because West Ham fans once smashed the pub up? is this true or a Myth?
  5. looks like the excuses are coming out already for Wesh Ham and Millwall. with "if the authorities and clubs did everything they could, they might not be punished" What a joke, a football CLUB is not a single player, its not a team by its self, a manager or the coaching staff, its everybody involved with that CLUB. This includes everybody from The players, staff and the largest group of People, THE FANS. I dont think there's been an over reaction, look at all the different incidents thay have shown on TV, then think what they havn't show. It wasn't just people outside the ground causing trouble, it was inside the ground as well. and it wasn't a small group, videos show a hundred or so inside the ground. THe fans of WHAM and Millwall have to be punished and the only way is to kick them out of the comp for a few years and request games to be played behind closed doors at home.
  6. Thats next to Cafe Istanbul I think, down by the side of Kendals. Its a larger expansion of Pau Brasil that was in the Northern Quarter. Its only just opened and would love to go. Those all you can eat Brazillians are fantastic value (when you consider the type, quality and amount of meat you eat) but at £19.99 per person + drinks I need to wait for the right occasion. However the lunch time menu is £12 inc drink i think. Looks very nice, dont think the girlfriend would eat £20 quids worth of meat though. Anyone else been?
  7. its not a tragedy. but its a shame for the lad, or anybody else who has been caught up in a similar thing in the tournament. when i saw the tackle i said it was a great tackle, but someone else said penalty, however after the replay it showed he took the ball first and yes at the time you'd be frustrated if it wasn't awarded, but you cant argue after you've seen the replay. The ref got it wrong, but as Uefa have said, it can only be taken away for mistaken identity
  8. I understand they cant change it mid tournament, but my point is no one understands the rules any more. Thats why referees at grass route level are criticised by parents, as usually neither fully understand the rules. Uefa/Fifa introduce and then take away rules without us the fans ever knowing, leading to pure frustration. What ever happened to the Day light offside rule, a tackle from behind was supposed to be a straight red card, Diving was supposed to be a straight red at one point. just 3 that come to mind and have all quickly vanished. Some rules have come in to the game for the good, but football worked perfectly well for many years before people started interfearing with the rules
  9. got to say fairly gutted for Fletcher, Makes possibly the tackle of the champions league to date and gets sent off. Not only that but because of UEFA rules this cannot be taken away. Why are there some rules in one competition and different rules in an other. I can accept the Ref making a mistake, but for Uefas red tape to get in the way once again is the real Joke. as football is the same game, the same rules should apply through out, no wonder nobody understands the rules of the game any more with these Politicians running it. Either a card can be taken away if the Ref got it wrong or it cant, 1 rule! How we as a country lost our game to these faceless nobodys is shocking.
  10. From SKYSPORTS.com Gotta love his choice of words, even though it's true modesty's gone strraight out the window
  11. http://www.halalmc.co.uk/ looks pretty nice at night, heard good reviews so far
  12. If Nelsen had been offered double what Rovers are paying at the moment, how whould he find this out ? Surely this would be classed as Tapping up a player. if this was the case then if I was JW i would allow him to leave, then sue the ass of portsmouth, claiming compensation for the transfer in excess of what we would receive now. But the main point is HAS NELSEN SAID HE WANTS TO LEAVE ?? all i've seen is the same interview repeated over a few weeks which says its with the suits at the moment!!! Papers make things up typical example could be: Jurno: So I hear portsmouth are after you RN: Yes, its with the suits at the moment, but i am not interested unless Blackburn feel like they want to sell me. All the newspaper would take would be "Yes, its with the suits at the moment," because this sells stories. if you get what I am saying.
