  1. Lack of atmosphere seems to be a problem throughout the Premier league at the moment. Granted not every club has a bad atmosphere but you have Alex Ferguson complaining about the lack of atmosphere at Old Trafford. Chelsea, Bolton, Wigan, Middlesborough, Fulham, Man City, none of these clubs seem to have that much atmosphere at home games, I listened to the Everton v Chelsea game last night and I doubt think there was much atmosphere at that game either. I think the atmosphere will improve without the drummer but there needs to be a joint effort from the club aswell as the supporters. Sad to say that the club need to get involved but thats the way I think it needs to be now at Ewood.
  2. Damn it, was looking forward to Mercenaries 2, is there a date as to when it is being put back? Also I think that 2 days 2 vegas looks really good.
  3. Was thinking it would be around that much, Not many of my mates have a PS3 yet, My girlfriend bought AC for £30 though so if I could get £20 of them I wouldn't be too dissapointed. I've noticed that they are selling from £20+ on ebay so that might be an idea.
  4. Just completed Assassins Creed this morning was even a bit late for work. The story is very good, am going to trade it in now, won't expect much from Game, does anybody have an idea of how much i'd get store credit wise?
  5. I'm quite excited about the games that are going to be released this year. Heres a list of games that I am most looking forward to 1 GTA IV 2 GT 5 3 R6V 2 4 HAZE 5 KILLZONE 2 6 SOCOM CONFRONTATION 7 HOME 8 MGS 9 MGS ONLINE 10 THE GETAWAY 11 LITTLE BIG PLANET Thats if these games actually make it out this year.
  6. Assassins Creed is a very good game and no doubt you will enjoy it. But I have to say that I think you have made a mistake if you are using the logic that RFOM is a good shooter so that you don't need COD4. I didn't really like RFOM and don't think it even compares to COD4. But I can understand that you are wanting to complete it before you purchase another FPS. I doubt you would have gone back to RFOM after playing COD4. Anyway I hope you enjoy Assassins Creed
  7. COD4 Hands down for me, I got AC for christmas and have to admit it is repetetive. Stopped playing COD4 for a bit but am hooked again now.
  8. I know, why don't the FA get a break down of interested and suitable candidates and let the public vote (via phone, online text etc) for who we want as England manager? I know there is a risk of all the jocks messing with the vote but there must be a way to do it so that only English supporters can vote eg must register to vote. Even better we could even hold an X-Factor style contest to find the suitable candidate.
  9. COD4 is mostly going to be about multiplayer and with 16 maps there is no way I'm going to get bored playing this game any time soon hopefully.
  10. Does anybody else watch xleague.tv (channel 279) on sky. I haven't seen any demos yet for COD4 but they had a 4 on 4 multiplayer match on and it looked awesome. I can't wait for this game to come out on the PS3.
  11. I am, I've been to the last two at KGH, they were awesome nights on both occasions.
  12. Got my tickets for Ian Brown at Preston tonight, been sweating abit with the postal strike etc but they came on Thursday. Never been to see him so I can't wait, loving his new album.
  13. I heard the boo's when MGP was subbed against Portsmouth and was disgusted. At least he's putting the effort in. I find Benni frustrating but i'm not gonna start critising him as he is a goal scorer not a work horse, he was exactly the same last season.
  14. Awesome, 3 of us went drinking in Blackburn before the game and were sat in Gibbees sports bar (cafe stylo) when we saw a group of about 10 inbreds walking past king georges hall towards the Jubilee. Outside the Jubilee I think there was 3 or four riot vans who turned the b**t**ds away. We carried on drinking in town but after a while the pub we were in (FJ Nicols) closed and the police moved us on to the Jubilee. Inside it was packed and we were not allowed to leave untill the police ok'd it. We were told to go to the Sun (not the sort of place I would go normally or the jubilee to be honest) It was jammed pack in there and the police blocked the entrance with horses. Again we were not allowed to leave untill the police ok'd it. This time we were made to leave in groups of 5 but were herded into a convoy of Rovers fans surrounded by police and riot vans with the a helicopter spotlight shining down on us from above. I'd never been in anything like this before and it just added to the excitement and tension. After the Sun had emptied into the convoy we were escorted all the way to Ewood. Outside the moorings we were halted for what seemed like an eternity (needed the loo) apparently because the moorings was full of dingles. The game wasn't the best but the atmosphere was unbelievable and the home end of the ground was packed. When the 2nd goal went in the celebration was like nothing i'd ever experienced. We sat in the riverside stand next to the Darwen end. It rocked all the way through the game and had that much of an affect on us that we got our season tickets in the riverside the season after. When the 2nd goal went in the celebration was like nothing i'd ever experienced.
  15. Fantastic night, we went on a pub bus from Darwen. If I remember rightly was this not the game when they hardly had any grass on their pitch. We were singing S**t ground no grass. I seem to remember a lot more than 2000 away supporters. Me and my mates where at the back in the bottom tier and we did the conga with no tops on. A block of the seats next to us were covered with netting and I remember doing a Klinsman on it when the fourth went in. Outside the ground a group of notlob fans tried to charge us as we were coming out, but the police swarmed on them.
