  1. It depends. If you think that GB is trying to screw the club over then yes its bad. If you think GB is the right man for the job then he needs support of the owners whether you like them or not. In my opinion it is ludicrous to compare what happened with Kean to what is happening now with Bowyer.
  2. Well said. RIP Ronnie, you are a true Rovers legend. Come on lads go out and win todays game Ronnie.
  3. Are you sure about that ? I can't see why kean would instruct the owners to sack his assistant 3 days before a massive game. The timing suggests to me that this was a Venkys decision and the tide is turning for kean.
  4. When he is at his best he is one of our best players but his head will be turned now and he will want to leave and he will do everything he can to make the move happen. I don't think we will see another decent performance from Benni again which is a shame. I hope I am wrong.
  5. We have a problem now because Benni will probably be desparate to join west ham. If we reject the bid then he will sulk and we won't get another decent performance out of him until the transfer window shuts.
  6. I agree, when Benni is in the mood he is superb but since Chelsea turned his head a couple of summers back he hasn't been the same player. Its not just Allardyce that has left him out either because he was in and out the team when Hughes was in charge and ince didn't play him much. You could tell that Benni and Roberts had a point to prove on Saturday but when they start games and they are in their comfort zones they don't seem to have the same impact.
  7. I agree with all of those points but what if he was on some sort of pay as you play deal ? i.e. if he is that stupid and does get sent down again or if he is sent of we wouldn't pay him a penny. Whould you take that gamble ?
  8. you can add the current england captain, woodgate, bowyer and pennant to that list as well. If big sam thinks he can control him then I think he is worth a gamble.
  9. I am not slating Benni but I think Roberts would be better coming off the bench last night. It was clear that we needed a physical presence up front with Santa Cruz, the arsenal defenders couldn't cope with him and I don't think they would have coped with 2 physical strikers up front. I don't give a toss who is sulking, or why they are sulking, but it is clear that Hughes did not bring Roberts on because of personal reasons and not football reasons. Why the hell did he bring zurab on in the last 5 mins ??? Shocking decision. Why put him on the bench if he is going to bring on an out of form Benni, a defender and an axe on instead ? Sell Roberts, but for gods sake bring the guy on if he is on the bench when we need him.
  10. That description is spot on and thats why Roberts should have come on instead.
